  1. Just got info at alona beach, Panglao, Bohol that 3 or so bars are open. The Namaka beach bar is open. where my friend works are crying our for tourist. In england next month I also heard they doing a trail on covid tests where you get a result in 30 mins which could be a game changer if it’s a success. We need to reopen society at some point. I want to go back in phils asap.

  2. Al Bacio restaurant was a great dining experience in 2018 when I was there with my family great food and friendly staff ๐Ÿ‘you have to try ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

  3. Great video mate as I said U make amazing videos .. hopefully soon I will visit Angeles City many could catch up with U and get some advice hehe .. great video broโค๏ธ

  4. Hi Brian its Graham here? You have alot of faith that Fields/ walking street will get back to what it was. Maybe a shadow of what it ever was, if sociaal distancing is maintained + masks that is the biggest turn off for sex,I cant see male clients getting turned on or getting into an amorous mood, young guys maybe but alot of older guys will leave it for what it is,it will probably dilute into private independant 1 woman private independant businesses at best!! Regards from Graham in Holland.

  5. How hot is it there? I’d love to know the temperature, date, and time of day when you start your videos. Considering retirement there, but heat is a big consideration.

  6. That structure opposite Devera Hotel is a wall, with what looks like a memorial park on the other side. Maybe it is a site for a future vlog, now that our curiosity has been aroused. Thank you Google Earth/Street View.

  7. Philly have u ever heard of NESARA and GESARA? If it happens, there will never be any poverty in the Philippines ever again. I know, sounds absurd. But Iโ€™m all for hope.

  8. Great info….thanks for posting it. I think the majority of the clubs will become sports bars yet hopefully ac will revert back to the old style because there is just so much you can take if its sports bar after sports bar with games alcohol and food just being offered. If thats the case we can stay home go to sports bars in our country because the gogo bars is what fuels the economy. Perhaps a ratio of 50 50 half sports bars half gogo bars could be the ingredient needed.

  9. De Vera Hotel…de vera means ‘really’ in English…I love the cherry crumble, the little cherry pies, and apple strudel there…and the brownies…and the black forest chocolate cake…yeah, Angel’s pastry is the best.
The Thai restaurant is overpriced and they charge extra for rice…which is total BS…not worth the price.

  10. Such a sad feeling I get seeing the area in decay and dying a slow death. So many hardworking people put their lives saving and heart into a once thriving business and employed people and now its just and eyesore of abandoned properties, and empty. It is starting to look like the area is in such decline that a rebound looks less and less likely. A once thriving tourist attraction, now just a ghost town in ruins. One thing is for sure, many peoples lives are forever changed, and not for the good.

  11. Hey, when i come visit your area, i want to try that Italian restaurant and see how it compares to Amore Italian restaurant here. Would like to try that Vietnamese restaurant too!

  12. Thank you again for the tour. I believe Pony Tails had moved into Crystal Palace on Real near Tequila reef. It was connected to Dollhouse. I was there in March, right before the lockdown, and the ladies were telling me there was talk of closing them both down, Pony Tails (Crystal Palace) and Dollhouse.

  13. What are the high rise buildings on the opposite side of the street from Hotel America (hotel, apartment building, mall, etc.)? Looks like it is still under construction. It appears to be huge and goes on quite a ways!

  14. googles not being very helpful, with the building you asked for information on. although it was quite helpful finding more of your videos. in an early video, you asked about a brick block building further up the rd as well near the airfield entrance, i think you said. i’ll keep looking. an talk to a couple of other amateur historians. good work, you an yours stay safe an well eh!

  15. I don’t know why but this walk and talk was really good i could’ve easily watched 15 more minutes. I needed that. Vietnamese food is delicious spring rolls and PHO

  16. I visited the Euroasia Hotel on my last trip in Nov 19, the CPI Call Shop & Beer Bar is at the front on the left. It’s part run by an American guy and sells craft beer as well as facilities for making international phone calls. A great place to while away a few hours until the evening’s entertainment…..i hope he’s still going when i can finally get back…..It’s good you chose a different place to walk, i found the Perimeter bars a bit more laid back for drinking in and watching the dancers….i could watch more of these, thanks.

  17. Thank you for these updates, Brian. I have a lot of memories from all those places you walked past. I would try to come every year. I was one of those two-week millionaires. For all those who never got to experience what the AC was twenty years ago, I’m sorry. It was indeed a single man’s paradise. But no more. Not sure what it will look like when it comes back. No matter what, I will to return to the Philippines.

  19. Brian , the Pony Tails is the Crystal Palace. It moved to walking street a year ago . Eruptions, touch of class and Emotions are still closed . Devera is a great hotel. There’s nothing done there on the perimeter, I’m in Cebu and I know that much.
