Amazing.
Henry I use to take a cordless drill and drill into the buko and then put a straw in the hole and sip away.
thank you for your uploads sir…i have never been in Bohol…watching all of your videos makes me want to visit Bohol…
wow just one little carton 2 dollars here in America
@LifeBeyondTheSea – Philippines but the stuff with sugar is awesome!!!!!!! however i often wonder how clean the people are who made this and things like that.
the actual ‘young coconuts’ can be bought along the roadside for about 30 cents (15 pesos). In the malls a water-bottle sized portion of Buko juice is about 65 cents, but they often add evap milk and sugar. I prefer just the juice straight from the coco with the soft coconut shredded in.. it’s SO delicious.
Love your videos!
Glad to see your back posting vids.
Almost took a buko to the head in Mindanao
a couple years ago..just feet away..learned my lesson lol
nooo kidding ; )
take care and buy you a
beer(s) some day lol
yah.. i’ve been hearing them in the province for quite a while and that THUD sounds like an elephant taking a big jump on the ground or something. ha! kinda like a bowling ball from 60 feet.. is ‘no muy bueno’.
great to see you back
Awesome!
WoW! I remember climbing coconut trees…It’s dangerous cause the branches are at top and some are dead…I always try to remember not to hang on to them otherwise you’ll fall off…The brown coconuts that have fallen off are over ripe , hard and not for eating raw..Use only for cooking or making coconut milk and oil mostly ..The mid – gown green ones are soft to spoon it..and the water is perfect for drinking also,..We should have coconut party with the sacraficial goat at the bonfire Yahoo!…Thanks Bro!
Howabout interviewing your neighbors? Like the coconut tree climber or the
Neighborhood tindahan owner.
Wow !!! Bravo…
Yep my wife was hit 2 times on her head by coconuts as a child. Lucky the skull still soft when young. It’s a fact more people die from falling coconuts than shark attacks.
I’d rather die from a coconut
Yes that’s scarry if the coconut drop on your head.. Sure it will kill you on the spot..how they take out the husk??and how much per kilo of coconut there now?
@Rona Pestilos yes, even in parks i try to keep alert to overhead coconut trees.
