  1. Thank you so much for another great sharing Rod, looking forwards to the property you visited, maybe on your next video? Take care and have a fabulous day/Ned ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  2. Nice to find these gems, Thailand is similar, and makes for wonderful day trips..seems us retired farangs (foreigners in Thai) need diversions, trips, hobbies, etc. to help occupy some of our time but as learning experiences also..so thx for the vid ๐Ÿ™๐ŸปโœŒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•Š๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ„…..and…..Happy Christmas ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ„

  3. Covid is a real virus. But this authoritarian control is everywhere, not just Philippines. I see this just as a beginning of global authoritarianism. Rod, I do enjoy your videos very much. Beautiful place there. Thanks for sharing. I use to dream of coming there, but idk anymore.

  4. Thanks for the video! I just received a Email from “Mango Tours” about the Philippines opening borders, I hope its true as the economy there could use it! Stay healthy my friend!

  5. Hi Rod, Looks a very nice spot there in the falls. Haha those Filipinas were very talkative until they found out you’re a vlogger lol ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘

  6. Hello,
Over here in Davao City, we need Food and Medical pass plus a QR code. I haven’t travel that much since the lockdown went back qcr๐Ÿ‘

  7. You are very friendly to everyone my friend, this is a good thing, why wouldn’t others respond to you in like manner. In 2008 i also was extremely friendly to people in my neighbourhood, which is my nature. Sadly some saw this as an easy touch to “borrow”, cash from me and my wife and fail to repay us. I think you move in different circles to our residential situation Rod, hence you are not likely to become personally involved with the people you meet along the way? Warm regards, Bob and Lina.

  8. Good video Rod only 40 pesos to cross that bridge what a deal makes me really miss the Philippines I love it down there in moalboal area . Last time I went to kawasan Falls ended up canyoneering it was a lot of fun I really miss the Philippines I can’t wait till things open up for tourist. Looking forward to seeing you again Rod and have a cold beer chat catch up on things. Take care of yourself buddy. Miss the fun we had together. Be safeyour a good pal. See you soon again.

  9. You looking to move and explore new areas? ๐Ÿ˜‰ So far Cindy & I have only once been stopped at a check point and we just showed paperwork. Normally they’re unmanned. If you’re heading out like that just let us know we could meet up in Car-car and take Sunshine, save the taxi fare. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜€

  10. Hey Rod just made a trip to Bantayan Island. road my motorcycle about 3 hours. I didn’t have a reservation so I had to call a hotel from the port Bantayan side. Just a little extra and unnecessary hassle with no benefit, but everyone was nice about it and only took 20 minutes extra compared to pre “plandemic” I wanted to stay at a pension house in santa fee but they didn’t have anything on the web, my plan was to just show up and get a room. That worked and I canceled the other reservation (I got his number if you want it. Was only p500 ($10 per night) In the center of Santa Fee 40 feet from the beach. You can’t get a reservation on line because its a small hotel no website. Seems like its the plan to punish the smallest business and not the larger ones. (like the US) But a nice trip just sad to see a lot of the business closed and some that clearly are not going to make it. There was some new construction and renovation going on by the well capitalized places.
The ferry runs every 2 hours and is only p195 and my bike and driver was P500 Total of p1530 round trip for 2 people and motorcycle + about p300 for a bunch of fees that I had to pay at 6 or 7 different windows. The bus is probably the best way to go. Santa fe is only 1km from the port and most everything is walking distance. Interested to see the houses for sale in Moalboal. Im looking for something to rent or buy in the mountains west of Cebu if you have any ideas?

  11. I have made trips to Moalboal, Santander and Oslob recently and stayed overnight and no requirements necessary. Just the usual health check form to complete and temperature reading. You will however need to book in advance as no walk ins allowed at present.

  12. Love the waterfalls. I may have a window of opportunity coming in late February to enter the Philippines. I’m not sure yet it will work but I’m hoping. Maybe I’ll be seeing you in early March!

  13. It could have been a perfect picnic area but that rain๐Ÿ˜ฉBe very careful in visiting parks, might be a little slippery๐Ÿ˜ฑtake care and thanks๐Ÿฅฐ

  14. Here 15 miles north of the Florida line i have never been asked for a hall pass, the only time I have worn the face diaper is just recently visiting my mom in ICU. I travel freely, the beaches in Florida etc there are lots of covidiots around wearing the face diaper but many donโ€™t. Even in the ICU many of the nurses wore them dangling from the ear or as chin straps so I did too. It seems no one really cares if you wear it properly just as long as you submit!

  15. Thanks for showing us around there Rod, itโ€™s somewhere that I have wanted to visit for a while but still not. There are lots of beautiful waterfalls in South Cebu, and I still have a few new ones still to visit. Glad you could escape the city for a while.
