  1. Excellent video vlog Chuck. Your opening is captivating. I love how you edit all of the awesome scenery with the perfect, smooth transitions. I’m learning by watching you. Kudos my friend. Peace and love TTT

  2. Happy Independence Day 4th of July From us in Thailand to our US viewers. Video of our celebration will be coming out soon. Hope you enjoyed today’s video. Thank you for coming with us on this adventure through the country we love and call home Thailand.

  3. good morning, beautiful place, a bit dated for my liking, i like comfy hotels and beds, looks like youve lost ya bed to the cat.have a great time and stay safe.thanks for the journey.x

  4. It is hilarious that when I went to a small mom and pop store, 2 female workers were chatting with their face masks down over their chins. They asked me where my mask was *I had left it at home*. I said I didn’t have one, they proceeded to tell me that it is the law to wear one… So I told them ok, have a good day. They then they told me that did I need one. I told them no thank you, have a good day. And I just left. (I wanted to support small businesses, but ended up buying the stuff I needed from Amazon) lol the whole face mask thing is a way to get people to conform to their illegal laws… I don’t stand for it.

  5. When I’m rich I will move to Thailand and buy SUV with REALLY good suspension (like Citroen/Rolls) and drive that same road. But before that – I just watch these videos…

  6. if you someday come to bang saray you should try The Kitchen it is a danish resturang and the owner peter bak he is a nice man and you can find him on the web http://WWW.the kitchen – bang – saray.com and greet him from me if you get down there

  7. Hey guys, getting out and about I see, keep the vids coming.
I’m British so I get your sarcasm and wit, don’t change 🙂

  8. I live in Phuket for half the year and Bangkok the other half. The one thing that is immutable is the disgusting Thai hot dogs and ‘seafood’ meatballs they insist on dropping in my soup. I just don’t get it. I love Thai food, but those meatball things are just disgusting. I can’t wrap my head around it.

  9. 19:25 I don’t like beer Chang either, I used to drink beer Sĩng (Singha also available in Southern California) till I tried Leo now I like beer Leo more. Heineken is the most popular beer in Vietnam besides Tiger or 333 ….

  10. and if you get down there get a Danish hot dog with it all when i watch the video where you eat it i pay it but i want to see you and pete on the video and i pay then the hot dog for you laugh

  11. Me and my Wife have been to that floating market the first time I was in Thailand. We still have a plate we bought there that has me and my Wife’s picture on the water in a boat.

  12. I am so happy to see you on the road again. It’s always fun to watch your videos and I like when you try to speak Swedish (varmkorv) LOL
I really miss Thailand, but hopefully I soon can make my next trip and look for a house to buy for my retirement.
Right now checking for some in Bang Saen, Chon Buri… Have a nice day (in Swedish – Ha en bra dag)

  13. I do miss that turquoise sky you get there, it goes so well with the tree green there.:) funny how nature puts colours together like that 🙂 no idea whats eating you in the sea though sorry 🙂 jealousy rating 8.5 today 🙂 your deducted a half point because I am Irish and still annoyed we got done out of St Patrick’s day 🙂 Happy 4th of July 🙂

  14. Chuck. You seem like such an active guy. You ever think of getting LASIK instead of wearing glasses? I just got it and I highly recommend it. Anyway. Just a thought! Stay cool!

  15. Welcome back to Cha-am guys. I thought you might have given me a call to catch up again Chuck, I could have shown you our house which is nearly finished. Oh well such is life, hope you enjoyed Cha-am and enjoy the rest of your trip guys

  16. The place your at reminds me of a swingers club in WA that was run by a family, now its out of business
Im saving this video, GG and I will try and make it there in November

  17. Chuck I have to agree with Page I brought my dog and she was attacked on the beach by other dogs I had to rush her to a vet. But then there’s a four-star hotel on the beach I forget the name of it and they let me stay with my dog, but my dog had too stay in the bottom basement where security stayed, but it was pretty nice of them!

  18. Thanks for showing us around,I stayed at the Grand in cha am once , chuck and Paige happy 4th of July 🇺🇸 always enjoy your videos 🌴👍🌴

  19. Chatuchak market in BK is a good place at night. One guy pumps out Thai trance on a loop..
Tried to get a CD….After Mrs69 got her painful screams drowned out at the Tattoo parlour.
2 hours of loopy hypnotic brilliance!
    But he was closin’ ;(

  20. I’d really be interested in a comparison of Thai residential construction to U.S. construction if you ever run out of things to talk about.

  21. That car looks like a Intranational (international) Harvester jeep thing!
Saw a Citroen CX Family.. Familiale in Krabi.. Down on the soi.. they lay flat.. Weird suspension.

  22. When I am able to get back to Thailand, I will go visit the resort, its not far from my house which is 10 min away from the Floating Markets.

  23. Appreciate you showing the room at Talay. Have had a couple of cups of coffee at the coffee place at the Talay, but never have seen the rooms before (usually stay at Baan Lan Suan down a couple of blocks from Talay). I may need to check it out next time I come to Cha am. The place you passed at 23:15 (เจ็กลีลาบซิ่ง) has got the BEST food.

  24. 21:25 Thailand:
    Man orders chocolate ice cream.
    When it arrives it’s strawberry.
    “excuse me I ordered chocolate”
‘yes but no have, today chocolate is strawberry ”
    TiT 🤣🤣

  25. HEY CHUCK AND PAIGE, NICE VIDEO, I REALLY LIKE CHA-AM. I’VE BEEN THERE TWICE NOW AND I FIND THIS TIME OF THE YEAR THE BEST. I ENJOY THE RAIN. DOGS, I HAVE BEEN CORNERED A FEW TIMES MYSELF. I HAVE FOUND THAT ALL PACKS HAVE ONE LEADER AND IF YOU CAN PICK OUT THAT ONE AND HIT HIM THE REST WILL LEAVE YOU ALONE. IT’S ONE OF THE REASONS I STARTED USING A CANE WHEN I WALKED. I DID GET TO SEE A BIT OF YOUR 4TH OF JULY PARTY AND WILL DEFINITELY MAKE IT NEXT YEAR. MY FRIEND PEWLY’S MOM DIED AND WE ARE IN HIS HOMETOWN FOR A CELEBRATION OF HER LIFE. I WAS REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING JOE AND GIFT AND HAVING A GOOD TIME WITH EVERYONE BUT I HAVE TO GIVE SUPPORT TO MY FRIEND.

  26. Chuck and Paige I saw you celebrating with Joe and Gift at their home. What a July 4Th party. You guys looked like you were having a great time. Those Hamburgers and Ribs looked delicious. Teacher Tom is some chef. Happy July 4th! All Americans should count our blessings for the freedoms that the USA gives us. Those left wing lunatics should leave our free Republic

  27. Hi Chuck, Paige, it doesn’t matter what vehicle you buy, how new it is, Thai roads will loosen it up.
It won’t be long before the roads will make it rattle. Every car, van, and truck I have ridden in has had
    rattle issues. Enjoy!

  28. Hey Chuck. I know you love your massaman curry. The best meal I’ve ever eaten in my entire life was on Samui, in Chaweng. A place called Khaw Glong. I really, really recommend you try it. Mostly for selfish reasons as I’d just like to see it again since I can’t taste it yet.

  29. I like the Pawn shop in that resort but I get the feeling that they don’t actually operate it. If they did maybe one could pay the bill in goods!

  30. Happy July 4th to you and Paige. I really enjoy your videos. You have become quite the expert of editing and turn around time, which is amazing, as I have had that experience in editing videos from various footage, in my old profession with Ron Jeremy (just joking about Ron Jeremy). Have fun in Cha Am and I am looking forward to seeing more of what you say is “farang friendly” food. 🙂

  31. nothing like a big block! but can have fun 2 ways, 1 is pure power for acceleration, the other is over geared for gas mileage, but lose acceleration but to see peoples expression wondering how you can afford to drive a “beast” everyday, lol, so mid 20 mpg out of a big block with tunnel ram, done it, but thinking of it again……
p.s. I could care less about shocks or noise, as long as the handling is ok, who cares….. thing I do is I buy dirt cheap wipers for my daily drivers, they squeak, but I never go far from home & usually to & from work, so I could care less, but vehicle I will go out of town on, yes I put good blades on but if I was doing a video in rain, I would get same reaction. lol.

  32. Hi Chuck, thanks for the video. Cha am is nice, I once stayed at the Thai Air Force base at Cha am airport, condos for Thai military and family’s.
