Free Government Sponsored Vaccinations Thailand

Today Gift and I learned that the Thai Government was sponsoring free vaccinations for all dogs in our community, here in Khiri Khan Prachuap Thailand. We were very pleased to hear this and took five Soi puppies that we have been feeding for their vaccines. It was a little scary because there was a possibility that I could have been bitten by their mother. Luckily for me, all went well. Thank you for watching. Please like, Share and Subscribe. 1. You are a saint ! Thank you so much for helping the dogs in your neighborhood. As a animal lover, I think it is everyone’s duty to do as you do. Please keep well and keep helping when and where you can.

  2. I feel so proud of you and Gift for taking good care and feeding those puppies and dogs.
Good karma will be with you and Gift.
Thailand Govt. take care of stray dogs and I wish to thank them for these Nobel acts.
In Malaysia, the authorities catch stray dogs and people poison dogs, very sad (a Muslim country ) Keep up the good works , I salute you and Gift.

  3. Back in the states working hard for the DoD all those years I bet you never thought you’d be living on a beach in Thailand gathering up the local pups and getting them shots for the next stage in your life.

  4. So proud of you for taking the time and great effort to get all those puppies their vaccines! You’re a good guy, my friend. Paul says hi and hugs from both of us! β€οΈπŸ™πŸΌ

  5. Hi Joe and Gift….wow those pups sure are growing fast, you guys are taking great care of them. Its such a beautiful location that you live, I’d be on that beach all day…lol. Stay safe ❀

  6. Good effort with the dogs vaccinations but I’m afraid I’m going to have deduct points for the inevitable, repetitive, “stay safe” advice.😎

  7. Thank you two for helping out with the dogs. I have seen some video about the monkeys starving and swarming for food. It is very sad to see animals suffer like that. I wish I could help the monkeys. Have no idea when I will be in Thailand again to be able to do anything. Hopefully, I will be there in January.

  8. Stay Safe Joe,, Looks like It will be awhile before I can return to Thailand , Boom says HI ,, Say hit to gift, Keep up the good work Glad they Took care of the dogs for you –Randy + Boom

    1. Hi Randy, I know my friend. I was planning to bring my youngest son, Joshua when he was on summer break from college, but it seems that trip will have to be canceled. Hopefully, things will get back to normal soon . Gift says hi. Stay safe! All the best!

  9. Thank you Joe and Gift for uploading another great video. It was also very nice that
you guys are very compassionate about taking care of the animals. It obvious that it probally wouldnt happen had you and Gift decided not to do it. Bless both of you and please stay safe.

  10. Hi Joe, you give us a mad desire to revisit Thailand, by seeing all this beautiful landscape. In time, I have been in Thailand since 1993 and I came back after three times in a row but I saw that everything has changed. So enjoy. For us, we will start Lent on 24 / O4 and will pray god to deliver us from this covid 19 pandemic, bless you, stay safe .

  11. Thank you both for this glimpse of your lives right now! Taking care of the puppies and mother dog is definitely an example of agape love! This is the Way! Love and Respect!

  12. You two are awesome taking care of the dogs glad to see the veterinarian it’ll be great if they would do free spaying and neutered πŸ˜„ stay safe

  13. Cute dogs and puppies, I hope they do not run into the road and get hurt, and thank you so much for taking good care of them. Please let me know if you need help paying for the spay and neuter, I can send you some money to help out. Cheers from S.F. Bay area.

    1. Thank you πŸ™ so much for the offer my friend. If they are not adopted soon, I will have them sprayed and neutered and I that covered. thanks again. Stay safe! All the best!

  14. Thailand was one of the worst in the world for rabies before the government finally stepped in and started addressing the problem. It’s smart to get the pups vaccinated, particularly in an area with a large monkey population. There is also a government program for spay and neuter, but I don’t think its free. Thais love their cats and dogs but usually won’t spend any money on them, including food. Cats can hunt for their food but a lot of dogs suffer from malnutrition, which in turn brings on mange and other health problems.

    1. Thank you πŸ™ for sharing my friend. If the puppies are not adopted soon, I will have them spayed and neutered at my own expense. Stay safe! All the best!

  15. Joe, you and Gift really are great people. We honestly hope to meet up one day and buy you a beer (or 12 ha!)
Still loving the daily life vlogs. My wife and I get embarrassingly excited when we see that you’ve posted a new video. We have a lot in common, I’m also a Fed, looking forward to retirement.
Keep up the great work my friend.

    1. Thank you πŸ™ so much my friend. See you guys in Thailand πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡ 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺 πŸ˜‚. Stay safe! All the best!

  16. Great job Joe and Gift, very good that the government is doing the vaccinations for free, a little puppy pee isn’t too bad, I caught 4 stray kittens from under my house to take them to get fixed and they left me bleeding, the sacrifices we happily make for our little friends that can’t take care of themselves. Many blessings to you, Gift and family πŸ™πŸΌ
    Cheers 🍻

  17. yea joe we are thinking about a new bike here in the south as well.i am looking at mayby a honda click.the wife like the automatic so yea do you think the clicks are a good bike?yea somethinglike that back in america if you could find one would be at least 3000 dollars if not more.

    1. There are so many options my friend but I prefer to shift gears as it is something I’m use to. I have ridden the automatic and they are good for beginners, someone with no riding experience or just someone who prefers automatic. Stay safe! All the best!

  18. Think Foreigner Joe is in or very close to small seaside town called CHA-AM in Prachup Khiri Khan Province. Next town north would be Phetchuburi and south of Cha-am would be the city of Hua-hin…they all are in Phrachuap Khiri Khan Province.

    1. @Foreigner Joe Hey Joe, you’re correct, not one of the towns I took notice of on a few trips on the adjacent highway from Hua-hin to Phetchaburi near Kang Krachen National Park (Mother-in-law lives out there). How’s it going in the new chateau on the beach, really looks like a relaxing setting, enjoy. I’m currently in Bangkok and planning another move soon after wife sets up her crop on a plot of land we have in Phetchaburi.

    2. Sorry my friend that is not correct. Prachuap Khiri Khan (Thai: ΰΈ›ΰΈ£ΰΈ°ΰΈˆΰΈ§ΰΈšΰΈ„ΰΈ΅ΰΈ£ΰΈ΅ΰΈ‚ΰΈ±ΰΈ™ΰΈ˜ΰΉŒ, pronounced [prā.tΝ‘Ι•ΓΉaΜ―p.kʰīː.rīː.kʰǎn]) is a town in southern Thailand. It is the capital of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province and is on the coast at one of the narrowest stretches in Thailand, only 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from the Burmese border at Dan Sing Khon in the Tenasserim Hills. The area has large pineapple and coconut industries, in addition to being popular with Thai tourists. The town is 291 km south of Bangkok by road. Hua Hin is about 90 KM north of Khiri Khan. Stay safe! All the best!

    1. Lol πŸ˜‚ I wish. Just money I budgeted for when I retired and sold my car, bike and all my possessions that I owned over 40 years. Stay safe! All the best!

  19. Well done for looking after those dogs – sometimes its a shock to westerners to see the shocking state some of them are in.
Refreshing to see some of those dogs that are a different colour from the usual soi dog brown!.
Always good to hear from you – cheers.

    1. @Foreigner Joe Ok. Good to know. I love dogs, I really do, but not having a dog is a real blessing. When the world returns to normal, it is much easier to travel and do things.

  20. Fabulous video, keep ’em coming Joe…btw…I’ve adopted you and Gift…the two of you are now part of my extended family…God bless the both of you…always J.

  21. Beautiful dogs. Nice reliable motorbike imo. Plenty of motorbike shops here who will love to gut your muffler so you can annoy everyone, while the loud pipe supposedly saves your life, at least where I live hehe.

  22. Hi from Australia. We’re enjoying the vids while we’re locked down also. It keeps us in touch with Thailand. Joe and Gift…when do we get to see the islands off the coast at Prachuap? Keep up the Good Work.

    1. That is awesome! Thank you for watching my friend. We will show everything around this area, once things return to somewhat normal my friend. Stay safe! All the best!

  23. Hi joe I was so touched by your kindness to the young pups (beutiful pups) there’s so much dog cruelty to animals in world !! god bless you and gift your lovely people stay safe !! Derek
