  1. I can feel the excitement in your voice being back in Bangkok and walking around seeing how things are changed and appear even new at times….just something about the big city that does it for us as travelers…..although that said, after those few days youโ€™re likely saying Iโ€™m ready to get back to the beach..”

  2. Wow looks really good Joe, we sure miss Bangkok but we are hoping to return in January
Looking forward to seeing you both, great price for the hotel and good location
Italian place looked good, but lets go back to La Costa Nostra, lol

  3. I wonder how the Taco Bell is there. Soho pizza looked really good. Are they new, I don’t recall seeing or hearing about them when I was last in Bangkok in January. Lots of good places to eat in Emporium and M Quarter. You heading back there for more videos?

  4. *Thanks for the memories, Did the Thai government ever shut the BTS down completely for any length of time because of social distancing? Enjoy your stay in Bangkok.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž*

  5. Of all the 1000’s of national/local reasonably priced and delicious coffee shops/stalls in Thailand, may I politely ask, “Why does Gift like Starbucks so much?”…Anyways, such a delicious looking lunch! And Bangkok department stores are more modern than the most modern malls in the States! I remember when living in a small Thai town in the early 90’s that the biyearly trip to Bangkok was a delight to eat at a Western fast food joint. At that time I could only find McDonald’s and Pizza Hut. Stay safe! Cheers….

  6. Good Video..The food looked Good. Gift is Amazing. U 2 make a Dang Good Couple ๐Ÿ’‘. I Love it when U Show Lots of Food/ Locations. Keep doing That and I’ll keep Trying to be First to Watch.๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ˜Š

  7. Great vid, love Ibis! I emailed that one to film their electric car charger for a vid but no response. Nevermind, have stayed at Ibis Riverside and Saigon, top value & always great staff too! Thx for the tour ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Thanks for showing us Bangkok, I sure miss Thailand, food looked great Gift enjoys her spaghetti ๐Ÿ thatโ€™s one of my favorite dishes also pizza ๐Ÿ• looked awesome, have a safe trip hope Gifts family are doing well ๐Ÿ™ looking forward to the next video ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿบ๐ŸŒดโœŒ๐Ÿผ

  9. Joe I found this the perfect location , we stayed opposite @Compass skyview . Close to BTS & foodcourts in Mall and Massages available in nearby streets . Looks like your Missing City life ? ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜ƒ Take care

  10. Hi Gift and Bro Joe , great video Bro , enjoy . Miss you two , stay happy ๐Ÿ˜Š and healthy. May you both always enjoy ๐Ÿ˜‰ life !!!!!!! Peace โ˜ฎ๏ธ

  11. That brought back memories… twenty years ago I used to stay at City Lodge on Soi 11 every three months. Did that for years. It was run by Amari and had the best rooms for the money in Bangkok. Always less than $20 and very nice for a small hotel. Of course back then the exchange rate was about 39… I even remember the exchange rate hitting 44 once. A thousand baht was about $18… At that rate, everything was almost free.

  12. Great to see Bangkok again, I miss the crispy fish with Thai herbs at the Air Space restaurant near central world (also one in Hua Hin). Edit: the Bangkok Air Space restaurant is closed, but khao takiab (Hua Hin) is still open!

  13. Hey Joe. You arenโ€™t from Chicago, by any chance, are you? I heard you say โ€œover by โ€œ and itโ€™s an expression that I remember from there.

  14. Great video Joe. I love Soi 11, I was last there in January and itโ€™s incredible to see how itโ€™s changed in just the last few months, since the lock down. Soho Pizza is my go to place before heading back to our Condo just down the street. Itโ€™s delicious but like you said, not cheap. Enjoyed all your content. Thanks.

  15. Joe Hi. Is Richard Living in Massachusetts for the last 22 Years. native from Puerto Rico..I been washing your channel for over a year..looking into your videos is a really nice experience what you and Gift are experience as a couple and the cultural point of differences that you realized nicely during all your videos. Thanks

  16. HEY JOE AND GIFT, ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO SEE ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS. I WAS JUST WATCHING CHUCK AND PAIGE LEAVING ON THEIR TRIP SOUTH. I DIDN’T GET MY SHOULDER SURGERY YESTERDAY BECAUSE MY BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS WERE JUST A LITTLE TOO HIGH. I HAVE NEVER BEEN AT A LEVEL OF 500 BEFORE AND AM NOW WONDERING IF IT MIGHT BE BECAUSE I WAS STRESSED ABOUT GETTING SURGERY. I WILL HAVE TO ASK THE DOCTOR ABOUT THAT. ANYWAY, I WAS IN TOTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE DOCTOR AND WE HAVE RESCHEDULED THE SURGERY FOR THE 30TH BUT WILL GO INTO THE HOSPITAL ON THE 29TH TO PREPARE FOR IT.

WE BOTH HAVE THE SAME SAME INSURANCE FOR RETIRED FEDERAL EMPLOYEES, BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD AND THEY HAVE A CONTRACT WITH BANGKOK HOSPITAL WHERE THEY PAY 85 PERCENT OF THE BILL. I WAS VERY SURPRISED THAT WHEN THEY PRESENTED THE BILL TO ME LAST NIGHT IT WAS PAID 100 PERCENT. I DON’T KNOW IF THAT WILL COME BACK ON ME LATER OR IF IT WILL STAY THAT WAY. IT’S KIND OF NICE IF ITS ALWAYS GOING TO BE BUT I DON’T BELIEVE IT WILL BE.

SO NOT BEING IN THE HOSPITAL IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MEET UP IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS I WOULD THINK THAT WOULD BE GREAT. I DON’T HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE DOCTOR UNTIL MONDAY SO I’M PRETTY MUCH OPEN. THE ONLY THING IS, MY TRANSPORTATION IS MY FRIEND PEWLY SO IF HE IS INVOLVED I WILL HAVE TO WORK WITH HIS SCHEDULE. I DO HAVE THE MRT CLOSE BY. IT’S A 100 BAHT TAXI RIDE TO IT AND I AM AT THE LAK SONG STATION. IT’S RIGHT AT THE END OF THE BLUE LINE MRT.

IT’S AN UP AND COMING PART OF THE WEST SIDE OF BANGKOK AND I HAVE A 1500 SQUARE FOOT 3 BEDROOM CONDO. IT’S ACTUALLY NEVER BEEN LIVED IN BEFORE BUT IS 3 YEARS OLD AND I PAY 10,000 BAHT PER MONTH. NOT BAD FOR BEING IN BANGKOK. THERE ARE 3 MORE JUST LIKE IT AT 10,000 PER MONTH. SO IF YOU KNOW ANYONE LOOKING SEND THEM OUR WAY.

LET ME KNOW ON MESSENGER IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MEET UP AND WE CAN SET A TIME AND PLACE.

  17. For $22 here near Los Angeles , you might get 1 night in a dusty broom closet, and have to sleep standing up .. snuggled between a mop and broom! ๐Ÿงน๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ˜

  18. Hi gift and joe wow Bangkok has changed a lot l haven’t been there for five years l used to go silom road a lot hope you are both well stay safe from frank in the uk London

  19. Good to see you back in Bangkok! We enjoyed meeting you last year around this time…

Where did you get the promotion of $22 for Ibiz Hotel? It is listed online for about US $27/night.

  20. Your pizza looked great- hotel seemed nice – a shame they couldn’t include access to the pool in the price. the looked way too small to have even just a few people in there.

  21. who needs all that western rubbish food that is responsible for so much bad health in the West.? Your choices looked so much better tastier and healthier

  22. I hadn’t realize they opened a Taco Bell near Soi 11. I rarely eat there but I just got a strangely insatiable desire to eat there after seeing it. Even though I love it — I can only eat so much Thai food.

  23. Beautiful hotel, tasty looking pizza, lovely German beer and a beautiful Thai lady for company, Joe, can you please tell me where i’m going wrong? ๐Ÿค”

  24. Greetings Joe and hungry Gift, that pizza looked good and that spaghetti ๐Ÿ soon disappeared, just a small salad ๐Ÿฅ— at lunch for me. I know youโ€™re having a great time in Bangkok, I canโ€™t stand the traffic, have a lovely day.
