  1. Unbelievable Rod, who would’ve thought it would come to this, the fear of the unseen, almost like a planetary scam to make the people of the world fearful of what? And its working whoever devised this evil inhumanity to man. There is more to it than what is apparent, imprisoning people in their homes for no reason? We have family both on Cebu and particularly on Bohol who are being affected by having to stay in their homes for months, how can this be healthy for the mind especially for the young who are not allowed to go out anywhere. I’m thinking of our God daughter in particular. Also i’m wondering if these restrictions are absolutely necessary and more importantly, are they legal. Here in NZ currently, there are court proceedings taking place challenging the legality of the Government restrictions previously imposed on the citizens of NZ before, where strong accusations are saying it was not lawful. Just wondering. If this was illegal here during the lockdown, is it legal at this time in the Philippines???? Or was it just something someone made up, not through the Senate? I recognise your bus ride through Mandaue, Rod. Send me an email Rod.

  2. The United States has serious problems with virus containment because of the different special interest factions fighting over different issues. The real solution is isolation now. Its better to stay at home. Super expensive medial bill if you get the virus.

  3. Hey Rod… Speaking of early closures, UNITOP in Talisay City closed like the 2nd week of April.. I was shocked… It is a fairly big operation… Some folks do surprise me with the ranting about the masks, and their rights.. I can’t imagine they think the Doctors, and Medical Professionals are just talking out of their hats.. Not just one, but almost all of them.. So I am looking to see what happens on the 1st of August, and hope things start sorting out… This travelling rules, and moving around Cebu province seems to me to be a bit far fetched.. It is hard enough to get a wifi signal in the big city, much less Bantayan or a destination off the beaten path with a ankle bracelet.. Take care my Friend… Bruce

  4. Hello Rod. I recently walked past a condo development undergoing construction here in CC. The construction crane was in operation and workcrews have returned to work in small but steady numbers. Have not seen any work done at this site since work came to a halt last March. Needless to say it was an odd thing to see, a positive step in the right direction. Thanks for the insightful presentation…

  5. Easing & lifting of restrictions comes down to the almighty $. The more they hurtin is when change occurs rather quickly. Quite humbling to see people helping others by giving a lift like that. Can’t say that about many cultures anymore. If you were standing out by the curb wearing your top hat w/your thumb stuck out Rody I bet you wouldn’t have any problem at all hitchin a ride……

  6. wearing a mask in open air….away from people is damn STUPID…….you can get a respiratory infection from constantly breathing your own hot air back. Backwards, paranoia, fear, and passive, poor people will do anything they are told to do……

  7. THE BEST THING is to keep out tourists until 2022 and open the economy up here. China has 3 new areas of the virus which is spreading, so to let tourists in here in 2021 would be crazy cause you would instantly start where you began in 2019. get rid of the lockdown in barangays that have no cases. we have hoards of people in lockdown and new cases every day so what good is the lockdown. all countermeasures are good to a degree cause it lets you see what’s working and what’s not working, then you can try something different.

  8. We went to Cebu zoo, by bus and then there’s a van to the zoo. But around 5 pm when we came out no vans. So we stood around wondering what to do. But some one offered a ride in the back of their pickup. To the main road. Offered , 1000php but would nt take it. It’s away to the main road.

  9. Rod if a gun was put to your head and you had to answer to save your life, when would you guess the Phils would open up for international tourism ?

  10. Rod i don’t know why you don’t have thousands of more subscribers. I really like your format lots of good information. Tired of the same old things everyone else talks about.like old guys dating 20 something yr. Olds. Keep up the great work my friend.

  11. Certainly a majority of residents there do not own transportation and depend on public transportation. To not allow them to operate puts a huge burden on the residents.

  12. Thanks for the update Rod. One thing about your videos, yes long however allot of variety of information. You bring in many aspects of daily Filipino life ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™๐Ÿบ

  13. Rod I have a question. What about train service in the Philippines. On a different blogger I seen a hand-cranked type of vehicle on tracks. Is there any train service over there

  14. Thanks ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿค—.. always great video and lots of information๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Œ. What were last two streets you were on? Where were you coming from and where were you going? Lots of traffic backed up coming towards you.. about what time of day was it? Thanks ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿค—

  15. I have always riden around the city in a Jeepney wedged in like a tin of sardines with my long legs getting in every ones way and banging my head on the roof as I am tall.Guess Covid could change that experience for good ..

  16. Nevada relaxed rules on bars in 4 add’l counties, but Clark County still has moratorium on bars. Calvary chapel lost Supreme Court suit against Gov Sisolak for the 50 person limits on groups causing lack of church service, so still no big Sunday churchgoing. Got rid of “phases”. Going to specific industry and/or businesses non-compliant. NV “r factor” (virus spread rate) is down to 0.98 (from country high of 1.6 in June). Stay safe!

  17. Have no idea if this helps but we daily sniff the fumes of rubbing alcohol when returning home from being out. We drink several tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with a glass of water. We take zinc and other trace minerals and vitamins. So far so good. Regards
