  2. Ok, firstly, run the intro longer, nice view and music cut to short šŸ˜‰ more to come.
Yup agree way to many expats for my likings. In Imus Cavite I see one expat a week.
Ace hospital should be Ok. Ned should be a Dady by now.
Iā€™m done with Luzon, once all this lockdown is over Iā€™m heading for Iloilo for a nice balance, les expats, good power, fibre to the house and a reasonable jump point to wherever you want to go. (After lockdowns)

  3. Adding up the good and the bad, the brownouts are an absolute deal breaker for me. I wouldn’t even consider living somewhere like that. Free rent wouldn’t even attract me. Thanks for the info.

  4. Great Video as always. You are right there are a lot of pros & cons of being around a lot of ex-pats. There are a lot of good ones and a lot of ones who sit around & drink all day, cause trouble, and are chick boys by night. One thing I like about Davao City is you don’t have the brownouts here as much & they only last about 15 minutes.

  5. Off topic…a retired California couple were found dead in a well yesterday outside of Ensenada Mexico. Another 65-year-old male citizen of South Africa & Canada was found stabbed to death this week on a beach on the southern end of the Baja Peninsula. Mexico has set records for murders in 2017, 2018, and 2019. In 2019 nearly 35,000 people were murdered. With the global economy tanking I’d expect the upward trend to continue. You’d be wise to stay in Asia Gio.

  6. I am planning on moving to Ph when this mess is over, so thank you for this review. I like the idea of living outside the city and being close enough to visit when needed. I live in Florida and that’s what I do now. As to the brownouts, I like to spend most of my time outside so to me the brownouts are like a wilderness trip and I’ve done lots of those so that shouldn’t be a problem. Access to healthy food, air, and water is a major consideration for me as I’m trying to stay healthy as long as I can so I’d like to see you address those issues.

  7. Hi curious have you ever did the math and see what you spent over the one year? Just curious ball park what you spent what you made for the year hmm just something I was just thinking

  8. Hi Gio, I have been to several islands there, Manila was the worst for traffic and congestion, I enjoy my girls home town of Medina about 1 1/2 hour bus ride east of cagayan de oro, not to crowded, close to the ocean, and another paradise in the Philippines!

  9. Hi Gio. I stayed at Marina Spatial condos through airbnb earlier this year. The units are basically all the the same, I stayed in 2 different 2 bedrooms, the only difference was how well it was furnished. Reminded me of military barracks with long hallways that echo every time the entry door gets closed with a bang. One side faces the pool and ocean which is nice. Second side faces the parking lot and afternoon sun. Third side faces the street with all the traffic noise and music from Cafe Racer and the other places at night. Was ok for short term and the convenience of all the restaurants on that corner and being close to town. Not sure I would want to live there. Would rather find a smaller complex in Valencia or somewhere outside of Dumagete a bit. Take care and thanks for the info you provide.

  10. Once again you have come through most impressively Mr. Gio! I enjoyed the (chat) information that you’ve shared. I am extremely early in the scenario but quite adamite with regards to the Philippines becoming my retirement destination. I commented to offer agreement on the dating sight info. I consider myself fortunate to have met an interesting, intelligent, independent, attractive and mature woman on a different sight but let me tell you…It was not easy. many scammers, games and fast trackers. I christian singles based on personal reasons, so unable to comment on their provisions. Nonetheless Gio…thanks again for the useful content and I will continue tuning in!

  11. Thanks Gio for the info I didn’t realize it was that many tourism in dumaguete and I didn’t realize there was that many what they call brownouts they cut the power off here in the United States where I live to work on it of a night of all times I guess because of the businesses I don’t know but it’s very inconvenient either way take care God bless

  12. Hi Gio, I’m looking for that healthcare link, but I think its just me not being able able to find it, I’m sure its here somewhere. I was hoping to get a brief opinion from you on Phil Health for expats at some point. This video is very informative video as always. I try to watch all of your fine productions. Have a great day.
