Hi Paige 🙏
Hello Chuck and Paige mafia . Can’t have soup without fresh bread. I’m early into the vid. Waiting to see the garlic sourdough go in the oven?
Thanks for the vid guys 😎👍
I didn’t have an appetite until watching this video unfortunately there is no larb moo anywhere near me 🙁 thanks for sharing another great Sunday Funday, and some people say Thais don’t have a sense of humor 🤷🏻♂️
Many blessings to you, Paige and family 🙏🏼
Cheers 🍻
Sabaidee chuck and Paige another Sunday fun day down the hatch, once again I’m hungry after watching your vidz hehe always a pleasure to see mafia and friends happy and living it up. Take care and be safe
We do our own Sunday Fun Days down my oldest daughters place.we pick a theme n the food n decorations etc. must fit the theme n it’s a lot of fun. Also has the mafia ever been to the USA
I love family reunions on Sundays. I grew up in a traditional family in Mexico city and every Sunday was a funday. In the US that tradition has been gone for decades. Too bad.
I am Thai person who immigrated to USA Loa Angeles area since 1967 & been living there since. Page should watch channel Lee USA she lives in Texas speaks Thai telling what happens in USA.
For Joe is not your friend. He hardly had a condo and was punking you tube. He should back off. I have been here 12 years. Thai Girl Gift. I could tie a few bows on that gift. 🤩
HEY CHUCK AND PAIGE AND ALL THE PEOPLE AT SUNDAY FUNDAY, TOO MANY TO NAME. LOL I LOVE TO WATCH THE LADIES COOK ESPECIALLY YOUR MOTHER IN LAW. SHE HAS BEEN DOING IT FOR SO MANY YEARS SHE CAN DO IT WITH HER EYES SHUT. AND OF COURSE THE ACTUAL SUNDAY FUNDAY DINNER. THAT TRIP I MADE UP TO YOUR CITY WAS NICE BUT THE SUNDAY FUNDAY DINNER WAS THE BEST. IT’S ONE THING TO SEE IT ON YOUTUBE BUT IT’S TOTALLY DIFFERENT WHEN YOU ARE SETTING IN THE MIDDLE OF IT. THAT MY FRIENDS WAS THE BEST PART OF THE TRIP.
WHEN MY FRIEND HAS TIME OFF FROM HIS TEACHING JOB WE ARE GOING TO BE MAKING A TRIP UP YOUR WAY AND I WANT HIM TO MEET YOU BOTH. WE ARE ALSO GOING TO BE GOING THROUGH KANCHANABURI BECAUSE HE KNOWS VERY LITTLE ABOUT IT AND TO ME ITS A BIG THING THAT THE THAI PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT. ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE A TEACHER. IT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES IN THAILAND.
YOU GUYS ENJOY YOUR DOWNTIME WITH THE FAMILY AND MAKE YOUR PLANS FOR YOUR NEXT TRIP.
Chuck just asks your mother-in-law what the purpose is of eating pork or chicken when they always have to have some fish sauce in their food I sometimes make meatballs and curry sauce with rice and pour my family put a lot of fish sauce in so they can not taste second a fish sauce
That’s so awesome. Reminds me of my time in Korea hanging out with Korean families on Korean BBQ and drinking nights. Such good memories. Keep on having fun!
Hi Chuck, new subscriber just have to tell you this in your recent video you saw someone house or store hanging the USA flag upside down maybe that guy is from the future, according to the picture of the new Jeep Wagoneer coming back in a year or so, google it you will see on the passenger side door there is an emblem Wagoneer and next to it was a
Clock batteries matter. Maybe. Was told by a seller to use only normal batteries, not alkaline ones. This worked for a while on some clocks. That said I’ve had similar IKEA clocks that lasted a few days to a few years, on normal batteries.
The best clocks are in a phone or if one’s really retired, the angle of the sun 555
never a dull moment in that house . I had to laugh when Soi Mafia was cooking and said “nid noy ped”……just like that wild pig she cooked when I was there! She don’t know nid noy ped! 555
Greetings Chuck & Paige,
Hope you are doing well.
We are recent subscribers and recently reached out to you while we were still in the US. Just finished our 14 day hotel quarantine in bkk and are in Nan visiting my wife’s family.
Question; we thought we would travel around Thailand 2-4 weeks by road to explore by car. Any suggestions on spots to checkout for a place to settle? We have a 12 yr old daughter who is in home school. Nan is probably too sleepy and we like the idea of clean air and ocean as we are all sailors.
Have really enjoyed your videos, they have been very helpful to get a feel for Thailand’s present state….
P,J & S
Chuck: I’m in Washington DC (condolences accepted) and there is now a new twist to fishing in our area. I think you will be surprised at what has replaced ‘Bass Action’ in our area. This video was shot locally. https://youtu.be/T0gyQ8YWlZY
I would LOVE to try the spicy foods here because i guarantee it wouldn’t phase me, I eat ghost pepper, scorpion pepper you name it. Nothing can make me even blink.
Hi Paigh and Chuck. Love the idea of Sunday Funday. Decided to adopt the idea here in Tasmania. Having family and friends come around to share food, drinks and company is awesome. Hope you don’t mind me stealing your idea. By the way my 7 year old son still loves Paigh. Loved the video. Blessings Alex and Richard from Tasmania Australia
Great family day…. thanks for sharing, as always. Your chicken soup made me hungry. My second favorite thing to watch after my you tubers is golf. So, watching you and round 2 of the golf “super bowl” , the FedEx Cup play offs. It’s the final event of a 4 event play off and they will finish on Monday. Winner gets 15.5 mil. So, you rank right up there with the Golf Channel. :-))
Order a German coo coo clock…..
They’re mechanical….
Soi Mafia may be the best cook in Thailand….. Chuck you’re very fortunate to have her as your Mother in law… My Thai Mother in law can cook too, but she’s meaner than a rattlesnake… Lol
I like all kinds of Larb. Your Larb Moo is missing Thai shallots, fresh mint leaves, and fish sauce. By the way, the Khao Kua is made from sticky rice, not normal white rice.
Awesome video, you certainly show a different side of Thailand. I love Sunday fun videos. I have used this phrase a few times in conversation with friends. Anyways, your Sunday fun day videos are unquestionably unique. Keep up the great videos!
Gidday from OZ, those small super hot chillies are called “birds-eye chillies” in Australia. They pop up in people’s back yards having been spread by birds. Many little kids in OZ have had a bad experience with those brightly coloured bombs.
i wonder if your life style here in thailand and the way you report it here, as to do with karma law .. you so natural way, enjoyable to look your video, even i am here in thailand since 35 years, I enjoy your video and your personality
What lovely people and the food looked great also .You are well liked/loved under that roof Chuck without doubt .Nice seeing you hug the mother- in-law and giving her a peck on the head .But you speaking Thai and understanding them has got to help to the point it just wouldn’t work otherwise i feel .Good on you 👍Thanks for sharing as always 👏
Need more Mafia Cuisine shows! We’re making Tom Talay with squid🦑and big prawns, mushrooms, peas, coconut milk, masaman paste this evening, also from Western Med France for our Italian girlflen. Nice new pans. Tap glasses 👍🥂 Just keep saying “aloi maak” to your mum-in-law = you will survive. Seriously entertaining! Is top-of-the-table guy the landlord (family I’m sure) ? And did he say: “I can’t drink anymore because I’m already drunk 🥴🍺 and I have to drive?”. Marvellous…..
Nice video. That reminds me of our visits to my wifes family farmhouse outside Udon Thani. The evenings are often filled with food, visitors and karaoke
Hey Chuck, you are so blessed to be a part of this family and friends. I smile the whole way through. I have a tiny family that parted ways a long time ago so to see yours is a Blessing to me. Take care. God Bless you and yours. M
