  1. I love how JC is devoted to getting us to where we need to be to retire happily in Thailand. Thanks JC I’m only 35 but ready to retire in post Covid world because I made a lot of money in equities. πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—

  2. Nice to have insurance but the won’t let me in now and they won’t give me visa at all. Because Thailand πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡ still closed for tourists. Because me always have non O Visa but now you can apply but you not get at Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ

  4. HOW MANY PPL CAN AFFORD A $100K INVESTMENT? I AM A RETIRED TEACHER FROM SWEDEN, 75 YEARS OLD, MY PENSION TODAY IS $1.450 MONTHLY. $17.400 YEARLY. THAI GOOD BYE?

  5. Staying safe in Arizona…for my return back to Chiang Mai. Working hard, overtime, to stack those benjamins (future baht). Good to know the insurance part won’t be the obstacle.

  6. Thanks for the encouraging information πŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜‚πŸ€—
What insurance company do you have and how much do you pay? How old are you and will you be able to get insurance after you reach 75 years of age? Thanks 😊

  7. Already have medical insurance via Tricare. Will have more insurance via Medicare in about 10 months. Does that cover the need for the 100k insurance for the OA visa? It covers covid19 too.

  8. Hi JC, I seem to be missing the link to your insurance agent. I wanted to use the link to get directly to him and help your friend out. Let me know when its up, or where if I missed it. Thank you.

  9. JC – It is sooooo good to see you!!! I worried when you did your “beach video”. πŸ˜‰
So, how long does this insurance cover me? I am concerned that when I turn a certain age the insurance will cancel and I will be kicked out of Thailand, as it does not appear that Thailand wants expatriates staying there long term.
As a side note – we left Thailand (1 month visit) in March, planned to be back in August (not happening) but hope to visit Granchildren for Christmas! Think it will happen?

  10. Hi jc. do I also need to have ensurance if i want marriage visa did they change that also, what do think this will be forever I mean about the ensurance and the 100.000 dollars as a tourist i think its when they open up for tourist many money for ensurance if you only stay in Thailand from 14 days to 2 or 3 mounth, do you think that it cost 100.000 dollars to have treatment for covid its many bath, I understand this is also for tourist
I hope they will change it when vaccine come, I hear rumors that Thailand maybe have vaccine next year…
    Good that you are back

  11. Hi, The YouTuber called Expat Report released a video today in which he says the Thai government has ordered all Expats to leave Thailand by September 26th. Is this true? You aren’t talking about it so I assume it isn’t a problem for you.

  12. Most people over 65 have some chronic disease(s). I assume those will be excluded from the policy. And if you stay until 75 you might get thrown out of the country when you no longer can get a policy? It seems to me that Thailand is trying to get rid of its Cheap Charlie retirees who are refugees from higher-cost countries. So forget “Retire Cheap”, it is not going to happen (for much longer). Sorry.
