  1. Brian talking about your side car. I was always curious why the trike companies who service the tourist areas (walking street, or even in Manila) Why they don’t get their sidecars built a bit LONGER for all the western tourists that they carry. I’m sure they could even charge a few peso more for the ride and the western tourists would be more than happy to pay for the comfort.

  2. Good day Sir Brian ๐Ÿ˜Ž that’s a nice hotel room ๐Ÿ‘ I thought never need any reservations because lack of guess right now lol๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  3. The Brass Knob was a very, very busy bar when I was stationed out there. And now, wow, what a massive conversion into the hotel venture. Looks like it’ll be a cool place to stay when “Fields” opens up to the world once more. Mabuhay from the Clark GI!

  4. On Teodoro Street, Juanita’s Guesthouse is offering their budget dwellings for 16,500 P per month from June 1st to September 30th. They are small but clean and they have good air con and a small flat tv screen and okay internet…especially if you get a room on the ground floor in the hallway behind the check in desk…there is also a big lockable clothes closet in each room.
The staff is very friendly and helpful…I have stayed there myself but paid considerably more. There is a little restaurant a few steps next door.

  5. Very gud vedio today. The prices are very good for those rooms. Nice get away from family ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ. Thank you.take care and God bless you and your family ๐Ÿ™.

  6. Reason the front end of ya trike is wobbly is because the side car is not in balanced with the bike, move the side car forward 6โ€ and no more steering wobble ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญโค๏ธ

  7. The rooms look nice, especially the balcony rooms. Could well be a place to stay on my next visit, thanks for uploading. Good of them to let you film but in their interest as you have good viewing figures, people like me who do visit Angeles, can find out about new places to stay and visit…….

  8. I was going to offer advice for the movement of the sidecar to stop the wobble, I see others have already offered their opinion on this also, but it seems your happy with the improvements you have planned, so that seems to be the best idea. Good luck with the new sidecar, and was waiting to hear the demon car update, hope that goes well for you.

  9. Thanks for sharing. My wife and I stayed at the Brass Knob for a few nights in 2018 and again in 2019. I found the 1,000 Peso rooms to be adequate. The restaurant served good food.

  10. You forgot to ask what the room hourly rate was (wink). The trike money pit is just starting. Sell it and get a trike with the options you want. What you have now is an alignment issue.

  11. Is that price because of virus with few customers ? Was that the price before the virus ? You never got into any of that which is important to know. Is there a discount for paying in cash ? For paying in cash in advance ? Do the small bedside cabinets have drawers ? Good for any storage ? You never pointed out the water jugs in hallways, looks like your getting free water.

There’s other hotels just as nice with wifi , free water and were priced the same or slightly less before the virus struck, that’s why it’s important to know if that price is only because of virus.

  12. Brian please could you learn to turn the lights on before you go into a room. The rest of the place was really nice. And very inexpensive. I’d be in the jacuzzi
If wife would let me haha.๐Ÿ˜Ž

  13. Why not take the side car off to be sure that is the problem. I removed mine and it took about 20 minutes. Process of elimination. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

  14. I always visit the Brass Knob bar s couple times when I’m there. Last October it was so slow I’m not surprised it closed. Lockdown was just the final nail in the coffin.

  15. when this covid hoax is over i`ll take my Filipina girlfriend there for a dirty weekend, she`s not a screamer so wont give the guests high blood pressure

  16. Nice tour Brian. I really like the Filipino art hanging on the walls, surprised none of you vloggers own more. $560 for a brand new sidecar installed? That’s a steal! We’ve got bicycles that cost 10 times that price here in the U.S.

  17. Loved the tour of the hotel, very good price….. Maybe after disconnecting the side car you can take the motor for a test drive to make sure the wobble is gone. I’m still believing the side car with the third wheel is causing the wobble. We had this issue with a trike before. I seen some down in Iloilo that looked like little space ships.. I always wanted one of those but was afraid to ask the price.

  18. Before the Lockdown, Brass Knob already got rid of the girly bar part of their business. The girls went over to Shipwrecked. Since Shipwrecked was sold to a Korean (called Tem Pro Bar)They are now spread among the other Wolfpack bars.

  19. Just a suggestion, separate the bike from the sidecar. When they weld on the sidecar, the slag falls on the motorcycle and messes up the chrome and paint. I paid 30,000 php for volvo style with stainless top on sidecar. Had it done at Emilio on Garcia Street in Mountain View.

  20. Brass Knob Bar was closed prior to Covid and plans were announced that the bar area would be converted to rooms. The Hotel was a dump that was long overdue for an overhaul. Would be interested to see if they keep up the maintenance and cleanliness of the rooms once things open again for tourism.

  21. I used to love the food at the brass knob. But it’s like each year the food gets worse and worse. I would sit right by the door to the bar and look in. Was not impressed by the talent.

  22. No need for a hotel without any bars therefore most of the bars will remain there or some bars will sell to a bigger outfit that can handle the shutdown. To many big hotels like ABC hotel and Kandi towers and all the other hotels and restaurants who depend on the bars therefore the bars will always be there.

  23. Why are you wasting your time with an old tricycle with no electric start ?. Not used but overused That thing has probably been to the moon and back. Buy your cart and add a new TMX or Barako , end of problem. I have been in your position ! I purchased a new tmx and cart solved the problem years ago. .

  24. Good idea on a new sidecar but why not have it aligned or reattached professionally to start with and make sure you want a trike long term. Should be really cheap to do.

  25. Hi Brian, have a house in Plaridel 1 and stay there from 2-4 months every year. Last 2 trips were April to May ’19 and November ’19 to January ’20. A few addons to your Brass Knob story.

-In April/May ’19, Brass Knob BF was P1,800 which included a room upstairs. By November ’19, Brass Knob sold to RedDoorz (chinese?) with no more rooms available upstairs and most girls moved to other bars.

-In April/May ’19 up perimeter at Touch of Class/Emotions, after BF, short time room upstairs at Perimeter Hotel P300. By November ’19 Touch of Class closes/merges with Emotions and Perimeter Hotel sold to RedDoorz with no more rooms available upstairs.

-After over 20 years, Ponytails closes in January ’20 (rent issues?/compounded by investment mistakes at “Palladium” construction site?) then moves to site of closed Crystal Palace and renamed Baby Dolls, only to close shortly thereafter. (Baby Dolls and Palladium site right where you like breakfast at TR.)

Finally, your walk thrus are great, showing street 4X is also a good addition (try Natalia Hotel, Owens across fro MS and keep including Normas). On next return, maybe you’d like to send up your drone from my front patio. Take care always.

  26. I was a regular there many years ago. I was friendly with the owner and his wife. Are they still there? Stampede and Cherry bar, nearby, closed years ago. Now there is a distinct shortage of bars in this vicinity. The punters come for the girls. So I don’t understand how you fill the hotel without the girls.

  27. I really like these vids on the trike. I was wondering why you didn’t get a longer sidecar. Thanks for the show! Always wanted one of these. We made some for our bicycles but not motorcycles.
    Agent 86 out

  28. Basically, the tricycles rear wheel and side car wheel are more planted to the ground than the front wheel of the bike. My guess is that the frame/bar of the side car may have bent downwards over time from people sitting and getting off over and over stresses the metal downwards. Try checking the level of the motorcycle and the sidecar with a level.
