Gio like the Q&A, I’ve driven there mostly in Davao and Gensan, it can be stressful like Gio said,kids playing by the side of rd always worry they may run out in front of you, scooters pulling out in front of you,so much passing on highways, if your turning on intersections where there is no lights dont give way or you will be sitting there, really no speed limit, I never had too show my license there even at the check points between Davao and Gensan,but always had Philipnos with me. You just have too be very careful. This was driving friends suv.

  5. Hi Gi and Gi , well done for still managing to make a video and stay in touch. Quarantine is more bearable when you have a beautiful girl with you I’m sure. Filipinas have the best smiles ever. We have all had to change our lives and our plans, and it’s hard, but there’s no alternative unfortunately. Stay safe, and keep smiling.

  6. I’m in Bayawan City now. I have a flight from Cebu May 3 (right now). I do not feel ‘stuck’ though. Based on what my family in the US says, I’m actually better off here than they are in the US.

    1. I’m staying at the Casa Antonio, a little B&B a couple of blocks from the Maefinn. The Maefinn was full when I first checked there. I’m paying 850P/day. The staff goes out and buys my food, water, etc. I’ve made contact with the local Rotary Club before the lockdown and they’ve been very friendly and helpful as well.

    1. I had a beautiful Filipina for 4 yrs but alas it didn’t work out it was long distance but I’ve met her in Manila bout 15 times so it was legit

  10. What ?? Of course there is a big difference marrying a Filipina. A western women does not need to support or send any money to parents, and not only that but many younger western women receive money or help in some form from the parents to help a young couple get going in life. A Filipina wife’s family is rarely ever going to supply that unless she comes from a wealthy family. My Filipina wife did work and send most of her money home to help support her family, she did not make that much. No western girl I have ever dated did that, the money we made together was ours and both my parents and hers helped us at times with things even if we did not need it or want it.
    Wow, crazy you do see any difference Gio.

    You can meet girls from parents that are not very poor and have some money
    but that will be the luck of which girl you fall in love with.
    There is a big difference, but it can be overcome by the Filipina working and using her money to support her family. Just keep in mind that is money you both could of used for yourself but now won’t have.

    1. specially if filipina came from a POOR family and no job and struggling in everyday needs or cant go for studies, regardless she’s from a province or in a city. the graceful exit to poverty is to have a foriegn man and become a live in partner… LOVES with benefits and benefits and benefits 😁

    3. @stephen wells Most other countries people are like that, I’m talking from experience seeing it with people I know or stories I heard.

    4. true and when they get theìr green card hello divorce. a filipino woman is way more vicious than american woman they just cant do much in philippines. filipino women are just using expats for money

  18. Hi Gio and Ging, enjoy your channel. Ging, you are very beautiful and appear extremely intelligent. Curious if you attended a State or local university and what is your degree in? Additional questions on higher education: 1. Are academic standards high for acceptance? 2. Are universities expensive? 3. Do they offer scholarship programs or financial help? I’m guessing most students work as they take classes. Just inquisitive on path Ging has taken to obtain her knowledge, it is obvious she is driven and has desire to succeed. Thanks

    1. Dennis Can’t speak for Gina but I can say from the experiences of being married to two Filipinas (widowed from the 1st) that education is very important to their culture. My first wife had a BS in nursing and her aunt and uncle were both doctors that came to the U.S. to practice. My second wife is a H.S. grad but is very intelligent and wants to learn. Most Filipinos will contribute to the other family members’ educations. My first wife’s aunt paid for her college education.

    Thanks for the response about driving there. I know the flow of traffic there will definitely take some getting used to.
    I also wanted to get clarification on the roundtrip flight deal (in regards to getting a 30-day extension) when moving there. I’m moving to be with my filipina hopefully by the end of this year. I remember in a video you did a while back talking about buying a roundtrip ticket. So if I’m moving there, can I just buy a ticket to the Philippines, and buy a ticket that goes to somewhere else like Thailand as a throw away ticket, or does it have to be an actual roundtrip ticket to my original departure airport? Also, when buying that throw away ticket, is it supposed to be for leaving the country within the original 30 days, or sometime before what would be the 30-day extension? I’m also a vet so I may look into a visa option regarding that after the 30-day extension, though my filipina and I plan to get married. Thanks Gio.

  24. It seems that filipinos don’t save/invest some of there money. Once they get paid from a job, they right away go shopping or send the money back home.

  25. Question for the next Q&A. Gio you were in the military as was I. Have you visited the VA in Manila and have you taken advantage of the SRRV available to vets?

  27. Supporting the family is a huge part of the relationship. Settle the matter early. What you are able to pay and who you are willing to pay for. Some will test you by asking if you can pay education expenses for a cousin or niece/ nephew.
    I won’t pay allowance.
    Won’t date a girl with a needy family.
    Only women with real jobs and a stable self supporting family.
