SHOPPING FOR ESSENTIALS. ARE THEY IN STOCK?

Shopping in a foreign country can be challenging especially in these “interesting” times we live in. Robinson’s Supermarket and fooda are the closest grocery stores here in Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines and about a 20 minute walk away.

  1. Rod I hear they have the malls completely closed they’re not open at all. Which you know the restaurants and things like that are closed. The liquor stores either you call in your order and then bring it out to your car or they will take your order at the door and bring it out to your car. They cut back hours at places like Lowe’s hardware store and things like that.

  2. ……Our local store finally got eggs, potatoes and toilet paper back in stock…..Ecuador is having a hard time with infections. They are saying 1/2 the nurses quit and the other half are coughing with the virus. …100’s are dying…

  6. Hi Rod, In my country( Portugal), we already have twenty-one thousand infected and seven hundred and five people have died, there are several restrictions and only the services considered essential are open, it has been a month and a half that people are in quarantine, for now, we have had no shortage of essential goods, but some products such as alcohol, or alcohol gel are at a very high price. Stay safe.
