  1. Went to a produce market earlier today and got a whole cut up pineapple, went home and ate it. Then I remembered your army story about the pineapple. I could not eat anything for about six hours. The pineapple pastry looks good however.

  2. Insurance question: if you have car insurance in Thailand, does that cover you when you rent a car like insurance in the States?

BTW, I am SO glad that 7-11’s in the States don’t have those pineapple pies. A diet would be completely impossible as those things are addictive.

  3. After almost hitting a truck head on in Jamaica (while on a motorcycle) I’m leery about driving on the left hand side of the road, relying on other sources for transportation has only been a problem a few times in Thailand and that was in very remote areas. Thanks for sharing, many blessings to you, Paige and family 🙏🏼
    Cheers 🍻

  4. Here that rain, we had thunderstorms last night in San Francisco… Re-run….1Km is equivalent to 0.6214 miles… 1 United States Dollar equals 31.12 Thai Baht… When I drive in the US, I stare at the side view mirrors, the rear view mirror and scanning back and forth to find smokey hidden on the highways…Yes I did hit it a long time ago….(*j*)

  5. I’m 70 year old guy stationed in nakorn phanom in 1975. I hope in January to visit Thailand with a friend. I plan to fly to nakorn phanom and work my way down to khon kaen then fly to Chiang mai. Thinking of a short visit to tat phanom. Would like to stop and say hello if you would post your address

  6. Another great video as always Chuck. I noticed you were getting a lot of flicker when in the 7/11 store. You may want to change the camera settings from NTSC to PAL in the regional settings of the camera to sync with the 220V 50Hz that Thailand uses. This should eliminate the flicker 🙏🏼🙂

  7. We sooo miss Thailand. Thank you for sharing another fun adventure ! Love seeing the convenient stores even the toilets haha..
Always watching your vids Chuck and Paige I just can’t comment sometimes as I watch usually YouTube on my tv. Have a blessed week.

  8. Hearing they are not going to let us back until after February 2021. Going to have to keep up with Isaan through you. Sure missing it an the new grandson that will be a year old before I can get back.

  9. A few of your videos people have been saying that you have a noise in the back of your car may be suspension I’ve worked it out if you haven’t already when you have your bike in the car it make that banging noise great work as usual 👍 🙏 take care guys

  10. I’m in Washington State, the wet (west) side of the state, and seeing the rain was actually quite comforting since we are in the middle of a dry spell LOL

  11. Hi Chuck n Paige from Sylvan Lake Alberta Canada. Glad to see you going too Korat again, My wife and family are there. Safe travels and enjoy your trip 🇨🇦🇨🇦

  12. My husband and I want to tell you how much we’ve enjoyed your videos. It takes talent to do what you do. You’re talking to the camera like we are there with you. We thank you for your awesome videos and for the work you put in to them. Wish we had your rain. 111 today here in the Antelope Valley in So Ca.

  13. I hear you on people here in the states on their phone all the time while driving. I’m a truck driver and I can see into everyone’s cars all day long. I have to save other people’s lives and bodywork to my truck every day.

  14. Chuck, it’s so bad here lately that I look forward to your road trip as much as you and Paige do. Funny, I live in Hawaii & still prefer retiring in Thailand than here. 45 yrs old and 5 more years for that retiree visa.

  15. Hi Chuck, all donuts are good… driving in Thailand is a experience, need eyes in the back of your head as they do dart out from any direction. Thanks for the video. Drive safe.

  16. Not sure I like a black doll “hanging” from a string … innocent, but … given the times we’re in and all the issues of social justice and fights for equality … even an innocent gesture could be misinterpreted.

  17. So, why doesn’t Paige ever drive your SUV? I’ve lived in Chiang Mai for over a decade and I was a professional driver in the U.S. but have been happy to give that duty to my Thai woman who drives us most places and is an excellent and safe driver. I’ve got better, more useful and interesting things to do in the car. And I enjoy doing them from the passenger seat.

  18. If you want to see a really interesting driving video, “Project Brupeg” has just put up a video of driving from Adelaide to Bundaberg through the outback. I just watched it and it is great.

  19. HEY CHUCK AND PAIGE, ALWAYS FUN TO DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD WITH YOU GUYS. WHEN YOU WERE LOOKING FOR YOUR HAM AND CHEESE SANDWICH IT REMINDED ME OF A TIME I BOUGHT A HAM AND CHEESE SANDWICH. IT WAS ON REGULAR BREAD AND CUT FROM CORNER TO CORNER AND PUT IN ONE OF THOSE TRIANGULAR SHAPED HOLDER. WHEN I OPENED IT I NOTICED THAT ONE TRIANGLE HAD HAM AND THE OTHER ONE HAD CHEESE. A TRUE HAM SANDWICH AND CHEESE SANDWICH. LOL

  20. I love the videos you are doing, you have taught me alot about living in Thailand. Like you I hope to be able to get out of the rat race eventually and be able to relax in Thailand

  21. Very interesting video. Yep, I’ve been on those busses and vans you’re talking about and I’d rather take the train or fly. Much more relaxing and not as scary. Have a great day, Jon.

  22. My experience driving in Thailand is that the driving on the opposite side is not a problem. It’s the thai drivers. No safety laws at all. Motorbikes driving half the time with no head or tail lights and driving on the wrong side of the road. Vehicles pulling out into intersection n not looking. Also driving way to slow or a passing a vehicle where you have to avoid and drive on the shoulder or have a head on Collision . Thailand has the highest death rate from driving in the world. My thai gf says you need 20 eyes when driving in Thailand. So true !
