Great news Chucky – Thailand has fared very well with COVID – and yet that was one country i thought would suffer lots of deaths with the Chinese tourists – The globe is against CHina and most people want them back in their corner instead of being global bullies. An American friend and I were talking today and he told me that he was at the Post Office near his home in Tahkli and the manager there told him that Thailand is neither sending mail or receiving mail at this time from outside the country. He was trying to send something to his daughter in Florida and was told, not right now. Just another piece of unofficial information but that could be something that would be delaying the income stimulus checks if they were mailed.

  25. Ive mentioned this before…I’m amazed at the casual attitude by provincial Thai with the masks ,especially in the markets and food service industry. It is still a requirement by the national emergency decree to wear a mask in public. Where I live in Pattaya I reckon its at about +95% complied ..in malls, restaurants, shops markets etc ..its 100% .
    If you don’t have a smart phone you can sign in manually. The app ..takes a few seconds .

  26. Hi Chuck. Join the hypertension world. I’ve been on Atenolol and Simvastatin. It runs in families no doubt. You never can stop. If you do you run a risk of stroke or heart attack. Be safe not sorry.

  29. I’m glad to hear International Flights might be commencing the end of June. I’m thinking about going to Korat with my Wife and Stepson till this is over. We are safer there. We’re averaging about 800 new cases a day in Florida. Lunch looks great. We are doing a Cosco Run and I’m having that for dinner. My Wife is a great cook. Thanks.

  31. march this year I took my whole list of meds to a doctor in Phuket to ask if they have all of them in Thailand. they got everything to order, arrives in 1-2 days. luckily I found an insurance that covers chronic illness in Thailand… now it’s just the visa. will save lot more money to stay 5 years (elite)

Crikey Great things are opening up, i was starting to feel like a Hermet Crab, we had no rain for 2 months now kinda crazy feels like no rainy season this year, Bud eat raw bitter gourd its great for Blood pressure i tried it and my blood pressure went down same with my friend too. i feel awesome these days i lost 3kg but bllody hungry alot OH THAT FOOD LOOKS SO YUMMY on your video lol take care bud Cheers see you again Chuck

With all the chili peppers you guys eat,no virus can survive in your system.Seriously,l think the experts need to do research on that.Capscacian(the ingredient in chili’s) as an antivirus?As for the stimulus check,as long as you filed your US tax,you’ll get it.If you are a SS retiree and getting your pension through electronic deposit to your bank,then it will be automatically be deposited.

  41. Chuck, try a US Based VPN. When I’m here in Thailand the electric company in the UK blocks me viewing my bill. When I use my UK VPN it’s fine. Try a US VPN

  42. Tracking is very easy. NO NEED TO INSTALL ANY APP. No need to download. I went to Central Ladprao yesterday. No major line, simply scan qr code which opens a Web page. Enter your phone number and accept check-in. They temperature check and in you go. Scan again on exit and check out. Simples. NO NEED TO INSTALL ANY APPS.

  47. Morning. For your high blood pressure, you could do a test for Magnessium and Potassium deficiency. If you are deficient, your natural health doctor will take it from there.

  50. Chuck, you need to clarify, 116 people have been “identified” as having covid. Nobody knows the actual numbers. People only get put on the list if they present at hospital and then test positive. Your next door neighbor may have covid with no symptoms.

  52. I first tried Turbo Tax… I did not have to file so they couldn’t take my direct deposit info. One tip was to check the refund box on the form and enter $0.00 for the refund amount and then you can fill in the direct deposit info. Because I’m retired on SS, a check did eventually show in my US bank account but I should have gotten two parents and one child (2900) instead I got one adult (1200). So then I went ahead and filed the non- filers tool on the IRS website. See what happens.

  55. There isn’t an app to visit the mall as such, you open the LINE app and scan a QR barcode and check in, reverse procedure when you leave. The idea being if an outbreak occurs they can contact you on LINE app. You are not tracked as such, they just know who was there and when and can contact you if required

  56. On collecting Stimulus money, You have to have a Social Security direct deposit bank routing number from IRS. That’s how the government knows how to send your money. Don’t know if a check mailed from the States will work. Good luck!

  58. HEY CHUCK AND PAIGE, YEAH, TIME TO REMOVE THE RESTRICTIONS. A COUPLE OF POINTS ABOUT WHAT YOU SAID. I GOT MY STEMMULESS CHECKED MIDDLE OF LAST MONTH AND IT CAME IN MY DIRECT DEPOSIT AT BANGKOK BANK. I WENT TO DRAW OUT SOME MONEY AND I WAS SUPRISED TO SEE AN EXTRA 37,000 BAHT IN THE ACCOUNT. IT CAME THROUGH MY SOCIAL SECURITY DEPOSIT BECAUSE ALL OF MY INCOME IS DISABILITY I DON’T HAVE TO PAY TAXES ON IT SO THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN GET IT TO ME IS THROUGH MY SOCIAL SECURITY. I WAS VERY HAPPY TO SEE IT BECAUSE I HAVE THAT SURGERY ON MY SHOULDER COMING UP AND MY BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD ONLY PAYS 85 PERCENT OF THE BILL. THAT WILL GO TOWARDS THAT.

    YOU MENTIONED ABOUT THIS APP TO GET IN THE MALLS. THE PEOPLE IN THE U.S. HAVE FOUND. THAT IT NOT ONLY TRACKS YOUR MOVEMENTS IN THE MALL BUT NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO FROM NOW ON. MANY PEOPLE ARE JUST PUTTING THEIR PHONE IN THEIR POCKET AND TELLING THEM THEY DON’T HAVE ONE. THEY MAKE THEM SIGN A PAPER BUT IT CAN’T TRACK YOU. I DON’T LIKE THE IDEA THAT I HAVE TO GIVE THEM ACCESS TO MY PHONE.

    I AM GLADE TO SEE THAT THAILAND IS STARTING TO OPEN UP AGAIN. I JUST HOPE WE DON’T GET A SECOND STAGE. I HAVE READ SOME THINGS ON THE INTERNET ABOUT CHINA HAVING A SECOND WAVE BUT WITH THE SHUTDOWN THEY THINK THEY WILL BE ABLE TO CONTAIN IT. IF I UNDERSTAND IT CORRECTLY, ALL OF THE NEW CASES IN THAILAND ARE COMING FROM OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY. THAT IS GOOD TO HEAR. EXCITED TO SEE YOU ON THE ROAD AGAIN AND LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR TRIP BACK TO THE ISLAND’S. I WANT TO DO THAT MYSELF SOME DAY. I LOVE BEING BY OR ON THE WATER.     We have been to Thailand many times and recommend visiting Khao Chamao National park near Rayong/Chantaburi since you are planning to go to Rayong soon. It has 7 levels of waterfalls! You will not be disappointed! We only managed to get upto level 5, due to having small kids and running out of time.

    Our challenge to you is to make it all the way to the highest level and check out the views from there 🙂

  61. You mentioned Chiang Mai as red zone. As far as I know, there is only 1 active case, which was from Phuket a few days ago.
    I Just watched another vlog where they went to a mall shoe shop…oh my god, what a palaver. She had temperature done, hand sanitiser logged in on the app and then had to put on a pair of gloves. On leaving the store she had to use the app again and fill out an on line questionnaire. Forget it.

  63. I probably wore the mask for a total of one hour during the last 3 months. I consider that an achievement. Two sure fire ways to make yourself weaker. Wear a mask, wash your hands too frequently.

  65. We have several excellent Thai restaurants in our town all with great food but the food in this video looks outstanding. Love the videos. Lockups winding down now but it will be a while yet before things get back to anywhere near where they were before.

  66. Get pink Himalayan salt, it’s high in potassium and 0 in sodium. Take lasix two times a week whenever you have headache from too much sodium. Lasix takes sodium from your body. That’s why your blood pressure is high

  68. So few virus cases and so many restrictions. Here in Phuket can’t go on the beach, airport closed, bridge access limited. At least we can use our swim pools now. Just about all open except bars and sit in alcohol. As for that that check in app …. screw that. Happy wear mask, take temp, even give phone number. But don’t mess with my smart phone. From what I see not many comply with app registration. Don’t want customers to walk away,

Chuck, I have a question for you, here in the Netherlands there is a doctor who immediately, when people have symptoms, prescribes a medicine, based on chlorine component zinc and minerals, now I hear that in Thailand people are tested positive, so they show symtones, immediately with that, blemishes compenets, and zinc + minerals are treated with sucesses, treated here in the Netherlands, the doctor is fined if he continues to prescribe that medicine, do you know anything about the treatment in Thailand at the first symtones of?

We have a similar app being pushed by the Australian Government here, it is called “CovidSafe” it is supposedly to be able to track people should someone be found positive as to where and who they have been in contact wit, People, of course are skeptical of other uses the app could be used for. But I think it they will make it that when they actually open pubs etc. here you will have to have it and security will check that it is installed and that Bluetooth is turned on (that is what it uses”, before you are allowed to enter. But I suppose you could always turn the Bluetooth off once you leave the premises.

Hey Guys, Chuck great to see you on top form today, The last few videos I have watched of yours you were on a bit of a downer nice to see you with high spirits and look forward to seeing your adventures when the lockdown is over. Take no notice of the folk who tell you to stop your medication. You have a family history of high blood pressure don’t risk a stroke because some know it all do-gooder tells you it’s bad. I say this from experience I once in the past stopped my medication because a know it all do-gooder told me it was bad. Chuck. I ended up in the hospital and could have died. If your health care professional advises you to take the medication then I strongly suggest you go by their advice not the advice of the do-gooder.
