  1. Great idea… I have been following your channel for a while. I am actually moving to the Philippines next month for a lifestyle change and cannot wait to get there. I’ll be starting a blog/youtube channel to share my experiences and will defiantly utilize your affiliate program as your material is extremely helpful. Thanks for all of the hard work.

    1. +Retired in Samar , he he… nope it’s all yours πŸ™‚ I’ll actually be moving to Puerto Princesa – Palawan next month. I’ve been in Dubai for the last 5 years and need a change. I subscribed to you channel, looking forward to seeing your experiences in Samar.

    2. +Suits to Shorts sounds like a great project. every person’s travels and experiences are unique, as well as the commentary we have on it. feel free to post a link to your site here on the channel when it’s online.

  2. Hi ReekayNew subscriber and really impressed with the material you produce. Glad i managed to watch most of the stuff before you moved to to the new web site ;). Its a realy valuable asset so fully support your decision to charge for it. Prices are very reasonable. Couple of suggestions. As the prices are so reasonable why not have a buy all for each if the three sections – nominal discount. Also a buy premium for access to all packs. Just a thought. Feel frre to put my early comments in your testimonial, this is very high quality and pertinent material. Thanks and keep up the great work. Sibat

  3. Such good move, I’ve promoted it on my dutch blog and of course my website. It will help people to prepare well and make the transition as smooth as possible.

    1. +Svulloismyhero my buddy and i were having a contest to see who could stay awake the longest. neither of us remembers who knocked out first, our brains weren’t functioning too well by that point. but i do remember passing out around midday and waking up the following morning. it took a day or so to recuperate from that. i don’t recommend it.

  4. okay nevermind I see what you’re doing. hey free market capitalism it’s a good thing.
I just hope I remember to buy it for myself hahaha

  5. the more I watch expats talking about what to watch out for, the less confident I get in my own abilities to survive. what brought anyone to the philippines? guts and a sense of adventure. watching vids on survival takes all the fun out of learning with your own emotions. perhaps assuming everyone knows what danger is, and avoiding any talk of it, and providing I’m formative stuff of obtaining extended visas, getting around the airport, recipes, may be a better positive style. I’m not critisizing, just observing expat vids and the negative stuff that makes the philippines a school project rather than fun..

    1. +Marc Hoffman i’ve found being in a foreign land to be quite the adventure. part of the reason is that i find myself so far removed from everything and everyone that i’ve known all my life. that’s a great thing, but it’s also a position of vulnerability. if things get weird, we don’t have the support system of friends/family or even govt assistance that we usually have ‘back home’. so, while it’s great to take a look at all the fun stuff to do, it’s also a smart thing to look at how to avoid some of the weirdness that can happen, so we’re prepared for it. it’s all part of the ying and yang of any situation. πŸ™‚

  6. I think it’s a great offer and nice he’s able to share his experience on his journey personally want to say thanks Mr reekey.enjoyed your videos and thoughts as well.for I personally enjoyed the background scenery.although my thoughts sometimes always leaves an open mind for new information and planning for expats and visitors.and the comments and input from others is very good information.much success in your travels.

  7. A good idea to try to monetize your work. Most people want everything on the Internet to be free, though……maybe getting companies to advertise on your website and working out more options?

  8. That’s pretty brave to up and move some country you have never been. But if you already have a steady paycheck its not such a scary thing. I have already been there 5 times and hope I can move soon. Need to secure that income first.

    1. +Dustin Donham yes, since earning money is a tall order in the PH, many expats come here either on their pension or disability check as a steady source of income. others i’ve known move here earlier by doing online work, either teaching english online or writing LOTS of seo articles.

  9. i was in the philippines from the 6th to the 16th i had a very nice time.. this is the third time i have been there. i really like the Philippines and i think your videos are good for the beginner and what to look for and lookout for. next trip i take i will look you up for sure.

  10. Can a foreigner own a Carabao in the Philippines? Would the foreigner have right to sell and buy at weekly auctions? Carabao would be branded.
