  1. Good news finally! I assume if you are a family unit of 3 or 4 you can move more seats to the same table? Any news on Angel’s Bakery? – one of my favourite breakfast places being European and liking real bread and coffee!

  2. Thanks Brian, well start getting out the apartment just a little more now! I hope and the family can find a place to swim!

  3. That breakfast looked good. Is it common for some restaurants to precook the egg and let it sit for hours until someone orders it? Maybe they reheat it before serving? Your eggs did look freshly cooked.

  4. Only thing is when you sit there is that you have to watch the trike guys piss in the wall alcove on the left. / opposite side of road … bloody good breakfast place mind you…🤣

  5. hi brian, who needs a visa to come to the philippines? not so many nationalities!
if you look at clark airport for example, emirates will fly back from august1, and qatar airways from oct 25….but even with flights, it doesn’t mean tourists will come back, cause as long as you have to go through a 14 days quarantine on arrival…who’s gonna come? hotels are closed, bars are closed…and you still need a travel pass and medical clearance to go to subic or manila! travel for leisure purposes is still forbidden. The major problem they have here in the philippines is to rapatriate OFW’s who have lost theirs jobs mainly in the middle east (saudi, uae, kuwait, bahrain, oman, qatar…but also singapore, australia, usa, HK….) 60.000 already came back and they expect another 50 to 100.000 as 350.000 lost their jobs abroad….the OFW also have to go through a mandatory14 days quarantine on arrival, the government has to test, accomodate and feed all these people in schools or barracks in manila, it costs money and it takes time that’s why they don’t want any tourist at the moment cause the whole system is already saturated with ofw…they’ll probably banned tourists for a few more months….time will tell but i bet bars of the walking street will be stay closed for a while….

  6. Not so much chismis, some bars are trying to open on Friday or Monday. My father was at Kokomo’s yesterday for lunch. He’s friends with some of the expat bar owners so he got the word from them.

  7. Tequilla Reef has good food and drinks. But don’t sit outside at night. They have the most aggressive rats I’ve ever seen, they where trying to crawl up my leg to get to my plate. Yelling at them wouldn’t scare them so I started throwing my silverware at them. They would run around the corner of the building and then return in 30 seconds. I asked the waitress for more silverware and told her about the rats. She just laughed, along with the guy sitting next to me that overheard me tell her. I decided to move inside before I get in trouble for throwing my plate at those aggressive rats. When I got inside I noticed the waitress talking and laughing with the other waitresses. I guess they thought it was funny. I was wearing sandals, not boots or I would have went to war instead of retreating. Before I payed my bill and left, I told the waitress she was lucky to have a job, cause back in So. Cal. the Health Dept. would shut the place down. I didn’t stopped eating there, I just didn’t sit outside anymore. Needless to say, I will never forget that dinner!

  8. That stop sign was just a suggestion. Glad your favorite breakfast place is open. Glad more places are opening. Some white knuckle moments while you were riding. Thank you for boots on the ground.

  9. Brian maybe you could asked the owner of the Tequilla Reef opened his second location near the barn houses probably be take over abandoned restaurant that used to be the mess hall when the air force was there.
