  1. Hi Joe and Gift. Another great video and an interesting interview with Martin. I couldn’t quite make out the last word in your question to Martin when you asked him “so what is your average monthly” ????????? Your voice slightly mumbled. Was that income or cost? ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™

  2. My Thai lady friend has a chuckle when you say Hoi Hin. Being from NY i always got a rash of sheet when I moved to Florida and ordered my cawfee (coffee). Any regrets on the Mitsu purchase? Its a toss up between the Pajero and the Fortuner. All the best to you two.

  3. Hi Joe. Finally caught up on your vids as like to watch in order. Nice guy Martin. Just goes to show its not always about money to be happy and enjoy life. Best to you and Gift.

  4. I was thinking about maybe moving to Cha Am or Hua Hin after my lease is up in Bangkok. I really like that area and is very relaxing, not too far from Bangkok which is good too ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ™Œ

  5. Ya I am on a marriage visa much more difficult with all the paperwork. Two copies of each page. Two visits as they send one copy to Bangkok and you come back 3 weeks later to get the stamp. But thats what you need do to stay in this wonderful country. Cheers ๐Ÿป

I really like your videos !!!

  7. Yes, Prachuab Kiri Khan is really nice area to live, not too busy but not too quiet. Cost of living is decent. I really like this interview vid showing perspective of people all over the world.

  8. good action with dogs…I make always a donation to vet as we go to Thailand. Enjoy the good time with your nice friends (Chuck Page etc). Nice positive guy Martin

  9. When you go back to Rayong you ever think about trying out the Hui Hin shuttle boat that goes to Pattaya? Then just take a cab to Rayong. Save a lot of driving and would make a great video!

  10. HEY JOE AND GIFT, FUNNY YOU SHOULD BE TALKING ABOUT ABOUT RETIREMENT VISA, I JUST WENT TO GET MINE TODAY. A LITTLE CHALLENGING WITH MY RIGHT ARM IN A SLING AND BRACES ON BOTH LEGS BUT I GOT THROUGH IT. I AM STREET LEGAL. THAT BURGER LOOKED GREAT, I HAD 3 TACOS AND A BURRITO FOR LUNCH TODAY AND I GOTTA SAY IT WASN’T BAD FOR BEING IN THAILAND. NEXT TIME YOU GUYS ARE IN BANGKOK I’LL TAKE YOU THERE. I WAS AMAZED WHEN I FOUND IT BECAUSE IT’S JUST ACROSS FROM THE U.S. EMBASSY. LOL

  12. Hi Gift & Joe & Martin. Good to know about retiree life in thailand. One of my best choices …in few years from now … hoping only for the process simpler than the actual messy one ๐Ÿ™‚

  13. I never like seeing myself in pictures or listening to my voice. Somehow you managed to make me look better. Thanks! I really enjoyed that day with you and Gift! Cheers! Martin

  14. The pandemic and resulting vaccines will determine where u retire. Stuck in Florida. Now Joe and Gift everyone in Phrachup is happy to see you and you can rest for a day or two. Salute my hometown Hua Hin when you pass thru. Thanks for the vids.

  15. Good video again Joe, and this is a suggestion why don’t you moneytise your channel and use the money to help the rescue dog foundation in Hua Hin as per Johnny be good rescuing that stray dog with the woman and Ian.You guys are animal lovers same as me and my wife, now we have a stray cat that we adopted as well as our dogs.

  16. anyone who cares for dogs is good people. Dogs have an excellent sense of good and bad in people too. With the hell that is being forced down the throats of America today and what is coming, I think I need to learn to speak the language of Thailand very soon.

  17. I am retired and living here (in Chiang Mai) my dream now for almost 4 years. Saw your video from May 13 , 2018. Good points you make there. “you don’t like thailand, leave” , “respect the people for what they are and do” … 100% true and honest. Love your video’s.

  18. All the doggies look well and the puppies are getting big, just shows That you can change your life and have a fantastic lifestyle on a small budget. its not the money that makes you happy, it your state of mind- great video guys and stay safe

  19. “Lack of politcial correctness”….LOVELY SAID!!:-)))) One of the reasons Iยดve spent the last 3 winters in Thailand….hehe….Iยดm so sick of the situation in Europe and western world….canยดt wait to come back as soon as I can! Hopefully in December or January! Hoping to hit the gym with you, Joe…and perhaps get those skinny calves of yours a real workout!:-))) Hihi….

  20. He’s paying too much for his shelter costs – 24,000 Bt ?
But as a single person, maybe living in a hotel suits him better ?
He definitely can have a better cost and style of living than staying in Canada. I’m a retired Canadian , so I know how much it costs to retire in Canada. That’s why I retired to Colombia !

  21. Thanks for locating the place in Google maps.
What I made out the place is along the Gulf of Siam ; in a narrow neck of land called isthmus of Kra which while brushing it’s sleeve with Myanmar tapers down to join northern Malaya.
Do you know Singora, Pattani again down the coast where the Japanese forces landed during their invasion of Malaya, Singapore in Dec 1941 – 42 . I wrote this as you are an army man.
Never been to this part of Thailand.

Nice hamburger yumyum please

  23. โ€œYou see, sometimes in life, the best thing for all that ails you has fur and four legs.โ€ You are truly loved by the dogs my friend. And that speaks volumes about a person. Great interview with Martin. Interesting gentleman. Awesome lunch. Thank you for sharing this Joe. All the best. Mitch ๐Ÿ™
