WILL WALK FOR FOOD IN THE PHILIPPINES

Walking to the supermarket for food offers a chance to get some exercise and fresh air. We have found one has to search several grocery stores to find the items you want sometimes. Robinson’s mall, Fooda, Ayala, Metro, SM, and others in Cebu City, Cebu, the Philippines are the main supermarkets.

  1. Rod,
If you don’t mind me asking, what is the GF’s name ? With the economic downturn, it will probably be a few more years before “Cebu City Lofts One” will be cutting the grand opening ribbon. We are just going to take it as it comes 1 day at a time. This novel virus pandemic is going to be of educational kind as there’s never been 1 like it before. Unfortunately, I think your going see a good number of those construction projects come to a halt.

  2. Rod,
I recall from one of your earlier videos that you did a review of a solar panel. Would you recommend the solar? If so, who is made by?

  3. Hi Rod. It looks like most people are doing the right thing there which is good to see Rod. All the best to you and your Family and all the People of the Philippines 🙂👍

  4. The air has got to be a lot cleaner now that most of those smoke-belching Jeepney’s are not running. Just look at the air along the horizon. People are breathing easier now. 😁 I’ve never seen the air cleaner than it is now in SEE-BOO city, lol.

  5. Rod your girlfriend is doing a fantastic job with the video camera. Had you not told us we would have thought you were doing it. Tell her I said great job

  6. Hi Rod. it’s confusing for me at times with limited testing in Cebu, being that many Filipinos that have been infective with covid are asymptomatic. This is overall a very young median age country, and that could play a part in that. Does that possibly mean that many possibly infected folks are walking around unwittingly infecting others? It’s heartening that not so many show up with medical emergencies at hospitals, but it does give one pause. It’s pretty quiet in our area of Cebu province, and folks for the most part are following the lockdown guidelines. It will be interesting if a “modified” lockdown extension happens, and what that will look like.
