  2. Great video Gio. It was very insightful and helpful to hear your story. Sounds like you had a great experience even though the work load was heavy in the teaching advisor position. Would be interested to hear about your Vietnam experience too. I will do some research on this topic based on the information you provided. Thank you!

  3. Very informative video and first of its kind. A for profit school with 1000 teachers is super impressive. The for profit school sector unlike public school sector is not easy for the administration. Long hours, hard work and a lot of responsibility. You did not mention if the students were adults, because that would of added icing on the cake!

  4. Gio thanks for the great insights – I have worked through Upwork very part-time for almost 8 years and did some tutoring on Skype to a Brazilian a few years ago (2014) at a basic rate of $15.00 per hour. It was fun.

  5. I was just thinking about this …
Teaching English but I would do private, like in my Haus over there & I would just charge whatever they give…like meals & various things

  6. Here are some recent Job offers I pulled from a Agent in Manila.
    Note: most positions are 6 days/week, 8-10 hours/day
Note: most of the lower paid Jobs won’t offer VISA Processing, so you’ll need to either have a Work Visa already from another company, or able to work by marriage to a Filipino.

  7. If I am a foreigner & thinking to migrate and/or work in the Philippines, it’s better to make a legitimate small or medium FOOD business in the Philippines. Many unemployment Filipinos needs job. I mentioned FOOD business is I think the number one business in the Philippines because Filipinos loves any kind of foods. This is only my own insight.
