A lot of people want to travel especially the weather in Thailand now is very good for the beach. However, many people are hesitated about visiting Thailand in June 2020

The tourism in Thailand is very slow because of this spread disease but I also wonder why there’s still tourists keep coming to travel here at the moment.

  1. It’s a shame, and is happening all over the world. Real businesses and real jobs … the full economic impact of Wuhan flu is yet to be seen.

  2. Hope things pick up Mister Johnny. Do you think there has been a change in culture over a decade which affects the bar culture? Less people want to sit with bar girls maybe? Or drink beers all night. But also alot of bars just about make a living, hand to mouth, maybe with a bank loan, so closing down for a few months too much for them to absorb that.
That lady looks like she makes a good papaya salad.

  3. Sad to see so many businesses closed and not reopening all the staff with no jobs it’s very sad. Similar here in Wales where I am it’s a coastal this is our busy time of year but all restaurants pubs cafes entertainment all closed , may reopen on 06/07 so that may help some of the businesses survive but I’m sure it will be Touch and Go for many of them . I feel so sorry for all those who have lost there jobs let’s hope things get back to normal soon . Nice vlog as always stay safe take care

  4. People talk about Corona killing the tourists industry but I feel the Coronavirus was just the nail in the coffin….before the Corona it was looking bad I mean really bad plus the high thb was not helping ..it got that bad with tourists not coming the government said let the Indians in (they can get visa on arrival now) …….Thailand will not be the same again …and only a fool would invest in any kind of business in Thailand………there only hope is to get that thb as low as possible and pray to buddha ….peace dude

  5. That pretty grim to say the least. Hopefully things will pick up in the very near future. I dread to imagine the full economical impact this virus has had on places like Thailand. Cheers for the Vlog and keep safe.

  6. Great to see the Magician hasn’t disappeared, sad to see so many small businesses going to the wall. Recovery will be painful and protracted but it will recover and new owners will come fulfilling their life long dream of owning their own bar. There are only two bars on Bintabaht that were there 15 years ago, change is the one thing you can guarantee in the entertainment zones.
Great vlog Jonny, fantastic to update visitors of the impact of the virus in town.

  7. Sad to see the economic impact to everyday people. I have been watching rents in Hua Hin and they don’t look to be going down. With my retirement just a few months away I hope that things will open up but I really am doubtful that we will be allowed back this year.

  8. Very sad to see all the bars up for sale or rent Jonny. The lady who pulled her tit out brightened up the mood tho 😂 all the best mate 👍

  9. Very sad state of affairs…. but…. if I know the Thais, as soon as the “entertainment” industry is allowed to reopen (and it will one day) those business properties will be snapped up and neon lights will glow again, they are a resilient lot 😎

  10. A good measure of the situation is a 7-11 closed for business. There aint gonna be a quick recovery for Hua Hin’s ‘entertainment zones. The ‘ladies’ have all gone home too. Wonder what it’s like at Khao Takiab both on the beach & thru the village. Tourists will be worshipped when they do return.

  11. Poor ol Khun Sak…. no money no customers no food geeze they had better come up with a cure and let tourists back in asap… Thai Hi – So can only hide for so long… the masses will run out of patience then things will really get nasty. Thai logic wont reduce rent but these should be occupied again but of course the question is how fast and what will the elite do to assist….and those who we cant write about…

  12. Sad to see how close to the bone so many Thais are living… take it one step farther… if the bars are closed, there are a lot of people with no money coming in…. SEVEN ELEVEN CLOSED!!!!! I would have NEVER imagined it could happen…. that’s like oxygen being taken out of the air!!!!!

  13. A totally nude girl running thru the woods at 4 am in the morning near my place…….she is all scratched up and bleeding from the brush and thorns she runs thru……….she has been screaming for help and neighbors with a house near the woods hears her and calls 911 for the police…………..the police arrive on the scene but only hear her screams in the woods and she runs from the police high on drugs and booz………….the police finally catch her but she resists and needs to be restrained in what’;s called a WRAP (a protective garment to keep her from kicking and fighting)…………after several hours since the first 911 call she later arrives at a local hospital…………….
people never learn that drugs and alcohol will ruin your life…….I’ve done both and I know the story well and all the people who think it is harmless and they can control their use of it…………..truth is that many viewers here like you because you do drink..birds of a feather flock together right……………..I don’t like to see good men ruin their lives or worse (they die)……..my best friend died of liver disease from being a heavy drinker..he was only 60…………..I say good riddens to those bars who won’t open, but an addiction won’t stop one from drinking unless they decide to stop…….

  14. Its sad to see Johnny. Your a good bloke for handing that guy a few bucks. Borders need to reopen just do temperature checks. You sick you can’t fly. Hopefully new owners will see good deals and reopen busniess. Thanks

  15. Hi..watch your videos a long time..don’t really comment but had too on this one..the Thai government need to let places open up..there ruining people’s lives..the virus is so small there..I feel so sorry for the hardship the Thai people are going through

  16. Thailand is an amazing country and we can’t wait to visit as soon as we can travel again! Thank you so much for sharing! We just joined your YouTube family, hope you can return the support!

  17. Tourists are unlikely to return until the christmas season subject to no second wave hitting Europe. There is no clear way forward or expectation that the world will revert to “normal`’ in the foreseeable future.

  18. Good update on the local business scene. Very tough on those mom and pop businesses. I think it will be at least 1-2 years for things to get back to “normal.” The government seems to trending to only attracting very wealthy long term visitors and the 30 day higher spending tourists.

  19. I feel terrible for all the people who had the guts and ambition to open their own business. Now they are losing them because of a virus. 🙄

  20. Yes very interesting Johnny where is negative positive will come out of good time to buy a property for the long term my wife isThai and my son is half Thai Magic man very entertaining I love it. 👋🤪🤣

  21. The situation is terrible in Hua Hin ! So sad for the many good Thai people who have no chance to earn a living … Wish all well during these tough times . Stay safe …

  22. Hua Hin is like a second home to me as know many people there. So sad to see the amount of closures. Know the owner of Ibiza bar too a great guy.
Did you see anything of the old guy who rides around on his ‘taxi’ bike. 🇬🇧💞🇹🇭

  23. Well if I was a tourist, I not come too Thailand but I have my thai wife living there so if it was possible I come in June for sure but about bars we’ll no tourist no bars so sadly to see i AM not a guy who goes to bars but I feel so big pity for the thais,,,Thailand live of tourists, but the tourists can not come, maybe some can i not know but its not many so sad………..
    Rak Thais RAk Thailand

  24. I read somewhere that the loss of Thai tourism due to the virus is around 1.5 trillion Baht.

  25. It will be a long time before it all gets ack to any thing like normal there and in australia to and all over the world in other countrys to mate That bitch of a premier is killing Qeenslands tourism by not opening Qeenslands borders up to our other australian states it wont be untill the end of the of the year or next year some time before our borders will be open to international travel i reckon all the best and keep safe and healthy you and Som and Title mate

  26. Terrible disaster to see empty Soi. Thank you for your nice interesting walking video. I do not know when l could come again, from France.😢

  27. Lots of doom and gloom here. Things will get better. It will just take time. A vaccine is coming and that will change everything…..Quickly. The bars that are shut down will have new owners. The nightlife will return with a vengeance. Thanks for the Blogg Johnny…always good.

  28. Oh Jonny it breaks my heart to see thai begging just for food indirectly !
