  2. From the short time, from watching his videos, I found him to be a kind and generous person. I wish him loads of happiness and great success!
I am sure he has created lots of great memories in the Philippines, to last him a lifetime!

  3. Try Mexico next, it’s basically a better version of the Philippines. Infrastructure, food, medical, etc. No problem with age gaps for dating but appearance matters more here. Colombia is fantastic also

  4. Will miss your vlogs from the PI, but look forward to periodically seeing something from you in the states. I guess the closest to the PI you will get in Texas will be the beaches at San Padre Island?

  5. I had a one year shot at living overseas, thinking I can adjust to living in a different country (won’t name the country and it’s not in SE Asia), but the conforts and freedoms living in my own house right here in the U.S. are only appreciated when you miss them. I got tired of wearing a mask everywhere I go for a year. But living overseas for a year taught me about downsizing and saving money.

  6. Never give up on the United States and what it has to offer. Never give up on the Philippines and what it has to offer………………..enjoy. We just might find you falling for an American woman who fits you perfectly. Good luck Paul.

  7. Life in the US had changed from what you remember and accustomed to. Hope you will enjoy your return and if not, you’re still young to make a change. Good luck in the future.

  8. Good luck to you Paul. What i always struggle with when coming back to the states after spending time in the Philippines is the lack of quality service here in the United states. The service i have experienced in the Philippines just blows my mind. Doesn’t matter if your at a restaurant or a hardware store in the Philippines you are treated as if you are royalty. Then come back to the states to frowns and clowns at establishments. 😀

  9. The most valuable thing we have is time. You can’t buy it back.Do you really need the money Paul? May be its not just the money? There is alot of positive things that can be done in the Philippines such as helping street children. You could also make money online.

  10. I’m a Harley rider, and I’ve thought about riding island to island there and do people do that? I’ve been to the Phillippines for a month a couple months before covid 19 hit and I’m planning on returning when I can get in again. Good luck in your endeavers Mr Paul……Can you buy Harley in the Phillippines, if so its probably mucho$$

  11. Best wishes to Paul in his new adventure. With life being what it is, I wonder how many twists and turns will take place during this work stint, and if Paul will indeed end up coming back to Asia the way he laid it out. Who knows? Maybe he’ll meet someone and his plans will all change. Never know.

  12. Cool video Gio. Paul you are in for a real shocker when you arrive to the US. However I’m sure that you’ll feel great once you get into your groove at work.start planning again..💪🏻😊 all the best!

  13. Having watched pretty much all of Paul’s videos, I predict he will be back after 1 year based on the fact that he likes to date, and I can’t imagine him being satisfied with a western woman. He might last alot longer if he actually finds a nice girlfriend.

  14. Thanks Paul, for the great videos and wish you the best with your career. You never know when life takes you in a new direction but the important thing is that YOU are in control of your life no matter what others say! Great video Gio and see you on the next one!

  15. Good luck to Paul on his next adventure, he was always honest about going back for work for a few years. I suspect he will stay in work for longer than people expect … we are all living much longer now so no rush.

  16. Paul , You Are Not Going To Last in America ! Money Is Not Everything ! At Your Age , You Will Not Have The 24 Year Old Hot Girl Of Your Dreams .
In America , You’ll Have To Go To Strip Bars To Get Any Action , and That’ll Be Risky . You Won’t Be Happy Paul in America ! 10 Months Paul ?

  17. Excited about working? Fuhgettaboutit! You can make more money, but you cant make more time. Going back to the rat race is gonna be painful. But seriously, I wish him all the best. A man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do.

  18. I’ve been all over the world. Lived in the Philippines in the 1980’s for two years and have been back half a dozen times since. To be frank and honest, there are some real drawbacks to living in the Philippines, especially if you are used to a good life in America. Sure, there are some positives, mainly just a few, specifically the girls/women. But just listen to the list of complaints by most bloggers after a year or so in the Philippines. Overall, if you have a good paying job in America and aren’t fascinated with dating younger cute girls, then America has so much more to offer than the polluted, non-intellectual, third world country of the Philippines. I’m just telling it like it really is – from a world traveler.

  19. Funny Paul did not mention where in the US as each state is so different; I hope its the deep south where he can get sufficient culture shock like no where else….LOL.

  20. I never realized how much I hated working until I retired in 2019. Owning my time is a luxury I’m still getting used to. You couldn’t pay me to resume the grind and all the associated stress. I wish Paul well. Especially here in America where common sense is becoming increasingly uncommon.

  21. Hey Paul I wish you all the best but I give you six months. You only have one life to live. Jobs come and go but life is short. Live it to the fullest and the happiest. Best of luck

  22. Great interview! Today I should not have chosen the gym over the debut.

As for Paul’s decision, if the work is challenging and financially rewarding, and he has a clear objective of X additional dollars in the bank, the time will pass quickly. Work will eat up 10-12 hours a day, errands/chores another 1-2, gym another 1-2, so you’re half asleep by the time your head hits the pillow. What’s that saying about prison? If you get your mind right, you do two days, the day you go in and the day you come out. I guess it can apply in this case as well. I know I was reluctant to leave back in 2014, but I went back knowing it was going to be all about work and money. Once I had my mindset right, seven years passed rather quickly.

  23. I spent 40 yrs in the Oil and Gas Industry no amount of money could get me to go back good luck dealing with all the B S in the U.S. and the new 87,000 IRS agents Biden is hiring

  24. Forget the job. I am sure you can use your skills to earn from the Phillipines. There is more to life than money. 6 months time and you will find it difficult.

  25. I will miss Paul. I actually watch his channel. So I really enjoy when Gio has him as a guest. Good luck to you Paul. Hopefully you will be back in the PI soon

  26. Good luck Paul. Back in the USSR…. I mean the USA…. The under current in American society is just short of a civil war. Wishing you best anyway….

  27. At least you’re going to a no income tax state. Want to retire early? Throw some money at Lake Resource, E3 Metals, or other Lithium Juniors. You’ll be set for life when they start production. I own over 200,000 shares of Lake and 30,000 shares of E3. I got in early before the price started to spike. Production starts in 2025. By 2026 Lake will be worth $16 a share and E3 will be $40-50 a share. Both are still a great value. In January, I’m investing another $150,000 in Lithium Juniors.

  28. As a man you should maximise your earning potential whilst you are still in a position to do so. Theres nothing like financial freedom, especially travelling and migrating to SE Asia.

  29. Good luck Paul. I have worked non-stop for 4 decades in the USA
and Canada for a US company. I retired this year and I wished I had retired 5 or 10 years ago.

  30. So glad I work online so I don’t have this dilemma of ideal earning in the US vs ideal living in SE Asia. You can have both if you figure out how to make good money online.

  31. It’s really sad when good friends part ways, but such is life. I could never go back to work after being retired, that’s like getting parolled from prison and then getting sent down again 😱

  32. I wish Paul the best of luck with his return to the West, he will find that a lot has changed in the last two years.
If he needs to earn more money, that’s obviously a consideration, but living in UK, I would move out there tomorrow if I could. Things are just starting open up there now, and I think he will regret it. As for dating….forget it.

  33. All I can say is good luck. The working life is killing me right now, and I still have a bit over 2 years to go. Maybe we will be going to the Philippines at the same time.

  34. Everything in the USA is ridiculous. Eating out is outrageous. I went to the Dominican Republic for the winter and to just get out of the US and not read about the morons running the country into the ground.

  35. I remember my last day in the Philippines also. Oct 25, 2019. I didn’t even leave for the airport yet and I was missing the place. I was scheduled to return Feb 5, but covid stopped that. Now it’s been 2yrs later, and I really miss being there, which is why I watch these videos. Good luck to Paul. He had it good tho cuz while many of us were stuck at home, at least he was there.

  36. I can’t do squat tell I’m 59.5 years of age!!!! Almost 53 now so close enough to my 5 year plan!!! Already started getting rid of my excess baggage no more muscle cars , jet skis, dirt bikes still have a few quads but those will soon be gone soon!!! Anything that has cost me money to upkeep is almost all gone!!! Living a very simplistic life now a days and I’m fine without I’m ready to go mind set now!!!! Nothing I meen nothing will get in the way of my remaining years on this earth!!! I’ve been raising kids for almost 30 years now my time to enjoy the rest f my life the way I want is almost upon me now!!!!

  37. I didn’t hear where he is going and doing what kind of work. Good luck, Paul. Pump the money pump and plan a return. Cheers, Gio. Looks like February I will be getting the SRRV.

  38. Paul will miss Mia once he boards the departure airplane, I have been in the same situation before as well as
many have been. It’s all about the drama baby! good luck to both Paul, mia and all. Joke lang: I already miss Mia, and Paul
has not yet left PI. Well, I am still on the seach for my thrifty ( dalagang pilipina ) Salamat

  39. Good luck with the next chapter of your life Paul I would kill to visit the Philippines now.

Gio your Sunday evening live stream for the Europeans will it be back on anytime soon?

  40. I’m a retired engineer and I loved my work. There’s 3 sides of a triangle and 3 factors that kept me working. People, job and money and I needed 2 of the 3 to keep working. If you max out your 401K for 10+ years, you’ll be set for life there. Also, maybe not for you, but finding a sweet young provence girl and growing old together is a good way to start into a new beginning. Good luck with your adventure.

  41. Paul leaves the Philippines for employment. And in a shocking development Mia provides the sensational details of her breakup in an exclusive interview with the Filipina Pea. Stay tuned people.

  42. I was the same when I was younger, work when you can, for me I worked as a taxi driver in London, for years, it’s a good job as you can save money and travel off season and I have been to over 50 countries. Now I’am 69 am living in Thailand, covid has kept me here with a long term Thai girlfriend, had to end my relationship with my Filipino girlfriend, it wouldn’t be right!

  43. Paul you spoke with such regret in your voice already.. About those missed places to visit… Gio was hilarious rubbing it in every five minutes about how GREAT things for explorers are going to be and Gio is right it is going to be amazing… I see the pain of missing out on your face Paul… I think part of you is bored with paradise but the answer is to take a little break. I have no idea why you are going back to the industry. Your body language screams that exploration and adventure is what you truly want. Give the dull life in USA 6 months. Sit alone on Xmas day staring at your empty apartment…. Get it out of your system.. Then ( if you can) get back to what your heart really wants… Missing In Action… M.I.A for 6 months. When you come back you will explode with energy for travel, adventure and freedom. And your vlogs for 2022/ 2023 are going to be amazing…. Enough code for you!

  44. Yup! that’s the life here in the US…spending holidays alone or with friends…
Social life?…ur lucky to have a life. America is all about work, spending and buying things you don’t need..then you work for more, so you can acquired more stuff….and you suppose to feel successful while admiring your material acquisition. 😉

  45. I give him 2 weeks before he regrets it.
After you’ve lived overseas the Western world will feel empty.
It’s like having a beautiful girlfriend & thinking you can do better…lol

  46. Paul first good luck and you’ve always put out really good content so I know speaking for myself and a lot of other people we thank you for that but you never mentioned anything about Mia I gather she’s not coming to the United States with you so what is now going to be the status of your relationship with her

  47. Paul will adjust to a new work schedule. There is no question that he will notice the difference in freedoms from his life in the Philippines. Once you have tasted financial freedom it is hard to go back, at least for me. Went past the point of no return long time ago, 17 years ago at 48. Like Paul, I enjoyed my work but decided time for me was more important.

  48. There was an american vlogger who came back here in the US, he was so sad because within a week he missed the Philippines. He missed the people on the streets. He came back to an empty street where he lives in Pomona California. No one to talk to, nobody smiles at him.

  49. Sucks to live here in the USA, not very friendly ,cannot have a slight look at someone or will get punched…just a lots things can or cannot do here.
