  1. It’s the holy grale for Ladyboys. It is told, that everybody who visited this cave becomes either gay or will change gender.
PS: The boats name should be “safety third”.

  2. It’s good that the sea was calm! Last time I made that trip, a longtail sank, and the boat I was on felt like it was going to break apart 😂 well worth the trip though 👌

  3. Finally, back to decent length show. Good one Chad. I enjoy the longer shows more. The way I see it is, if u go to the effort of making it, then I’ll go to the effort of watching it. Keep it up 👍

  4. Don’t include yourself in the title & stop putting yourself down. That’s what FB’s for! 555…Incidentally, the penis as you refer it represents the Lingam. This comes (no pun intended) from the Hindu culture absorbed into SE Asia and a conflict between deities. It doesn’t just represent the male member but has a deeper symbolism between the sexes. I don’t know if it is still there but in BKK in the gardens of one of the swanky hotels there were many lingams within – but the hotel never advertised the fact to prevent people (read backpacker types) from visiting to see/photo them.

  5. Man, I am in awe…. we just came out of lockdown and had a bushfire on the outskirts of my city (Perth, Australia) so this video has been a welcome distraction. Thanks for taking a bullet on this one for us! 😉

  6. #1 Rule ask to see the room first espically when then is no one at the resort.
#2 ask for the manager and show them the number of subscribers and tell them it’s free advertising.
#3. You live there you already know #1 glad you changed hotels

  7. I miss ao nang so fucking bad. Me and my wife lived there at the same time but never met. She worked as a chef at the resort featured in the hangover 2. We met a year later in Chiang mai. She currently is a chef at AGE restaurant in phuket which just won Iron Chef Thailand. I’d tell you to go go do an episode on the restaurant but I don’t want you stealing my girl. I’m almost ready to come back and start my 620 v8 turbo build.

  8. Congrats on the 250k !!! Have a feeling the 500k isn’t gonna be a long wait !! You should think about adding tour guide/planner to your portfolio lol. Keep the awesome videos coming!!!

  9. It’s a princess cave because of the “items” inside it. These “items” go IN a woman’s cave. That’s why it’s princess & not prince. Lol 😂

  10. I find it quite conflicting; on one hand, its horrible watching these folk lose their livelihoods, but on the other hand, there is no denying that many of the best places in Thailand have been totally ruined by mass tourism, and Krabi is definitely one of them. I hated it. It didn’t even feel Thai anymore.
As jealous as am, I’m really enjoying watching you make the most of this situation, and life in general for that matter. Really well done.

  11. My top 4 in Krabi:
    1. Nongthale Mountain View Resort in the Klong Muang Area
    2. Khao Ngon Nak Nature Trail with amazing panorama view
    3. Koh Hong (Island and Lagoon)
    4. White Orchid Restaurant in Khlong Muang.

  12. Bra another video that is a total pleasure to watch. Mate we are all stuck grounded because of the situation so it is a bit of a holiday to watch you go on your adventures. I just want to say thank you for bringing us all along.
    As always peace!

  13. The cave, on the east side of the Railay Bay is famous for its wonderful stalactites and stalagmites. Since ancient times, Phra Nang (Princess) Cave has been where fishermen, before going out to sea, have made offerings to the symbolic Phallus of Shiva (known as the Siwaleung or Palad Khik in Thai).

The fishermen, who say the cave is the home of a mythical sea princess, believe their offerings will bring them success in their fishing and protect them from danger, but what is more remarkable is that the cave contains a large collection of carved wooden phallic symbols, offerings and other objects believed to help with fertility.

  14. Probably best you didn’t go to this beach before can’t imagine you’d have the same experience also please don’t name the boat titanic that’s just asking for something to go wrong

  15. Dude, the cave is the princess’ punanaynay.. U bring a penis from home or wherever u made it and impregnate the princess and she will birth u good luck. St Peter’s square, temple of Solomon… Exactly the same thing… Sort of… The phallus inside of the birth canal… Religions, right?

  16. Another great video. Thanks for the travel tips. The book sounds good too. Just in case you look at me, my Instagram is molder.chief and that is because….. well, I am one. Be safe out there.

  17. Thanks for another great video. Was so happy to see the Leo beer at nearly sunset and then you have to go and ruin it by drinking a Singha. 🤮🤮.😁😁

  18. Knock, knock, anyone there? That place is empty. When I was there a couple of years ago, it was so crowded. Sunset and beers, the light is amazing. I don’t have Instagram, I was one of the millions of people that had their account deleted for no reason. That book does sound good. It’s sunny and -10c here. Ugh… 🧘🏻

  19. Hey Chad loved your last video I think a great name for a river boat would be ~gut punch~ this coming from the sound that you make it when you drop the F bomb it sounds like you’re punching a young person in the gut . Just what I thought love your videos

  20. Do your self a favour and go to koh lipe now!! 100% the most beautiful island in Thailand! im banned in thailand so do me a favour and go there bro! best regaard mr Richter

  21. If it anything like how people are in Italy/Spain, the dicks are signs of fertility and good luck. I’d assume it’s probably close to the same thing for the Thai people.

  22. one Story is that a fisherman’s wife lived in the cave until here death after her husband was lost at sea, waiting for him to come back. Some fisherman have made offerings to pray for a plentiful catch

  23. Chad you should hire me to be your camera man/bodyguard and I will also do all the stupid dangerous stuff you don’t want to, like climbing a crumbling hill side lol

  24. Nobody deserves the success you’re having more than you Chad, your videos bring us happiness and makes us appreciate this beautiful planet more and more !!

  25. I was there two years ago and it was horrendous: tourists everywhere and the incessant drone of long tails from 6am literally all day. It was ruined. You’re having a once in a lifetime – hell, probably once in history – experience there Chad, this will probably never happen again in our lifetimes. Absolutely amazing. It’ll have to go back part way to the way it was at some point, but I genuinely hope it doesn’t go back the whole way.

  26. Been to Rai ley beach a couple of times, it is absolutely stunning………i stayed at peace laguna in au nang for about $50 a night and it was a super nice hotel, loved see this again, great work Chad!

  27. Man. I live in envy of you. That an absolutely gorgeous place. Everywhere you visit there seems so amazing. One day when my kids leave the house ill have to go visit. Its a fight between Thailand and Japan

  28. Been watching Chad since before he blew up and enjoyed his content but I have to say—I’m not a fan of the “buy a sweater to enter the contest” business model. Your viewers are what make you what you are and it’s a kick in the nuts to them/us IMO. You’re not giving it away—your subscribers are pooling their money and one of them will win. You might as well be selling lottery tickets. Giveaways are free dude….even major corporations is the U.S.A have “no purchase necessary” caveats in their terms. Constructive criticism– I will keep watching but you might want to re-think that business model in the future if you truly want to give back to your peeps.

  29. The Princess Cave: a cave where reside the spirit of an Indian Princess whose ship sank in 300 BC and became a sacred place for fishermen, used in the altar, offer huge wooden phalluses in hopes of getting caught plentiful .. .. over the years, there are many wooden phalluses of various sizes, which are left in the cave by local people. The cave is located within a stunning mountain view from the sea has a phallic shape

That’s the short story on the cave

  30. Ao Nang is my fav place there, you missed the best beach it’s not Railay it’s Phra Nang aka the penis beach, when it’s low tide you can walk to the cliff right in front. Can’t wait to get back there

  31. I was at Railay beach 🏖 last year. Ooh what a place missing it badly 🙂 . It took 100 baht each side for us, but you got a whole boat to yourself cause of covid
. But it’s great beach hopefully will be back this year 😀

  32. Too bad you missed the viewpoint. It’s absolutely awesome and not unlike the Koh Phi Phi viewpoint where you see the two bays on either side of the sandy strip of land.

  33. On Lampedusa, an island south of Sicily, there was/is a cave in which you will find the carcasses of many dogs. Apparently, the locals display their anger at you by killing your dog and throwing the body into the cave. I guess in Thailand, they make it much more personable and take it to the next level.

  34. In some areas of Thailand, the phayllis symbol is believed to stop female ghost’s/spirits from taking men away, sometimes the small boy’s wear them on their waist so it is easier for the ghost’s to take them rather than the boy’s, or so I’m led to believe

  35. According to legend, Phra Nang was an Indian princess who was killed in a shipwreck. In another tale, Phra Nang was the wife of a fisherman who was lost at sea. She lived out the rest of her days in the cave, awaiting her husband’s return.
Today, local fisherman and boatmen leave offerings in Phra Nang cave to ensure safe travel on the sea. These offers take the form of male genitalia.

  36. Woo-hoo!

Great video, enjoyed it being a bit longer. I now want to hear the rest of the book in Hugh’s voice, so I’ll be ordering the audio book. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

  37. Another Gem from Chad. It’s chill to travel around in Thailand without the ‘usual’ tourists, but at the same time it’s sometimes lacks atmosphere… Those empty stores and restaurants.

Really counting the days to get back to Thailand

  38. Puttin Some Boat Names Out There..
    1. Phuck And Phorget
    2. Sick Buffalo
    3. Me Not Work Bar
    4. No Money No Honey
    5. Western Union
    6. Farang Atm Machine

  39. As usual you are correct. Only got stuck once and that’s because I was in Chiangmai during a festival and couldn’t get a flight out because they were booked. Lol. Still had a great time 🙂

  40. Chad how much is the longtail riverboat costing you? I’m wondering if it would be cost prohibitive to have one built and shipped to the US. I wonder how much it would cost if you went with say a 200 HP or 300 HP engine instead? Thanks! This might be a great boat for hunting and fishing in our marshes.

  41. I love the dogs in thailand always so friendly like the people and my good friend always fed one street dog each day and he always looked after her and they are super good at crossing roads of ya drunk in thailand and need to cross the road follow the dog.

  42. This goes both ways man..we share like and subscribe and you’re putting the effort and enjoyment to create these videos for us! You’re just a bit richer than us..for now!!

  43. Dude there’s actually a trail to the South that you can take at low tide that’s 2 km that gets you to rally Beach. Check out a place called Dawn of happiness for a sunset beer ,there’s some great little grass huts on the beach in between Ao nang and Krabi, the trail starts over there. Also check out tiger cave Temple and if you ride your motorbike to the South go check out the Emerald pool and the hot waterfall.

  44. The distance between the east and west side is not really that great, its only a 10-15 minutes walk end to end. And you stay anywhere in between it is shorter. Some prefer the more secluded area, the quietness and tranquility right below those karst formations and not near the crowded beach and restaurants. In fact, many stay on the east side which is way cheaper and then move to the west side for the beach. And from the east, its nearer to the viewpoint, the rock climbing areas, Pranang Beach, which you did not explore other than the cave. Whatever it is, the place is beautiful and relaxing……… like a hidden paradise.

  45. You could call the longtail boat you are building the Katoeytanic! Lol. Thanks for another great video and keeping the dream of getting back to Thailand alive!

  46. Awe, great memories, I was there at Railay Oct. 2018 (2nd visit to Thailand). Thanks for sharing this wonderful content. At 13:52 epic sunset/beer o’clock, one of your best.

  47. Love love love karbi island so peaceful can’t wait to things back to normal get my monthly trips back to Thailand 🇹🇭 raining as always here in Belfast

  48. Hey Chad i’ve been watching for awhile now and i’m so amazed on how far you have come and how big you have gotten since I first found your channel! keep up the great content and stay safe my guy. (off topic) instagram is Shades_mx5

  49. Man Chad, I’m jealous. My wife and I stayed in Ao Nang in 2014 I think it was. The fact that you have all of that beautiful scenery there to pretty much yourself free of a lot of tourists is priceless. Enjoy!

  50. Here is some info about the ‘penis cave’. “The shrine was created in the first quarter of the 20th century by Thai businessman Nai Lert (1872-1945), who found a spirit house floating in the klong and placed it on the bank of his property. In Thailand, the phallus is considered to be a symbol of good luck and also a representative of fertility.”

  51. 11:57 The Legend of Princess cave

  52. It’s not just Thailand. Many areas of Asia celebrate fertility and the symbol used is the penis lol. If you ever go to Japan check out the fertility festival. Western culture is so uptight about these basic human things.

  53. Always great to see your travel Vids. Agree totally with you. Be flexible. I only reserve my First night off the plane or places I’ve stayed before.Too Many Surprises. !! Looking forward to a joint bike tour with Loucius AKA Ride for Kicks! I bet Mona(cart winner would love to be a travel buddy1)

  54. My girlfriend and I went to Railay Beach a year ago in February, and yes, it was too crowded to be very enjoyable. Haven’t been back to Thailand since … for obvious and unfortunate reasons. But the day will come.
My suggestion for a name for your longtail boat build is “Sunset Beer”.

  55. This is what I get from the internet.

    The Legend
The cave, on the east side of the Railay Bay is famous for its wonderful stalactites and stalagmites. Since ancient times, Phra Nang (Princess) Cave has been where fishermen, before going out to sea, have made offerings to the symbolic Phallus of Shiva (known as the Siwaleung or Palad Khik in Thai).

    Love your movies

  56. Well; I hope Covit-19 is on your bucket list Mr. CB Media, because; I see the locals wearing M-95 or custom face mask, but; not you. I guess you’re just too good for that, or; maybe your the “self-proclaimed mighty-whitey” and commonsense or common decency does not apply to you. But; that’s OK, because; if you don’t get it, I do, and just maybe something will happen to teach you a lesson or perhaps you will find “Retrobution” and share it with us. It would be nice to see you getting your ass handed to you for such reckless behavior.

  57. . if i’m able to return to Thailand I’ll go straight to Railay Bay. Railay East looks like a mangrove swamp, good on them for retaining it. Love the walk to the cave, and the beach at West Railay Thanks for filming and sharing this beautiful place.

  58. In Thailand, some people worship the male sex organ. They even have a parade where the woman dresses up like a Princess and pick up one of those phallic and carries it, holding it pointing up-words as the parade procession marches through the streets. Some Thai women want to have sex with certain men just because they believe they will have greater sexual pleasure because of the size of their penis. The truth is; It is a man’s job to make a woman happy. That comes down to how well we treat them. I believe a man’s image can relie on how well he treats the woman around him and the size of his penis has nothing to do with that.
